5 years protection plan is worth to buy. The TV I bought had a looping issue where it kept turning on and off. The Best Buy representative refunded the full amount without any hassle. Whenever I buy items from Best Buy, I will always get the protection plan. It was very easy to get my money back as store credit.

Geek Squad was very professional. They arrived on time and gave previous text as to the time. I would recommend their service to everyone.

It never hurts to go the extra mile to have some insurance in case something goes wrong. This purchase gave me peace of mind and the value was inexpensive as well.

WOW, This was a great buy for the price for this tv,and with the help that we received we picked the perfect tv for the room we put it in. There are no complaints on,color or picture. Sound was fine but with the great service we got the best sound bar witch i will leave a review on it as well.

Always get the protection if ur TV is over $1000. I bought the 5 year warranty on my old Sony tv. It broke 4 years 7 months in the warranty and they offered to give the same model for the new year or $870 towards new tv. It was definitely worth the money. BTW I paid $1000 for the old tv.

Tvs are made to break eventually, whether its the leds, motherboards, wear and tear, etc....devices aren't made to last anymore and they become obsolete eventually. Such is the way now.....I think its always best to get the protection plan.

I thought I has a problem so I called and they came and even though problem was operator error they were very nice about it and made sure I knew how to use it. THANKS GEEK SQUAD!

This is an excellent deal for the five years plan as it stands my tv did last two years before problems then they replaced it without worry. I was so happy with the 3 year plan I bought with the first tv when I got its replacement I added the 5 year warranty which also came in handy when the remote went bad and got replaced again covered. Well worth the money!

I got this tv as a result oh my geek squad protection on my LG tv. I have bought the protection in the past and they stand by the agreement 100%

I have not been able to try out the coverage for any of my bought items.

Purchase price was excellent. Hopefully I won’t need this but if I do, it will more than pay for itself

Have not used the protection service yet. I hope I never have too. That's the reason I only gave it 4 stars. I hated even to rate it until I use it if I ever do. I believe there is a time limit on rating it. I do know they did a very nice jog delivering it and installing it.

Great value to have for a item of electronics for your house

Purchase a 65” Samsung OLED tv. I made sure to purchase a 5 year extended GeekSquad warranty for it as well for peace of mind. I definitely recommend to anyone to purchase an extended warranty for an electronics purchase like a big tv. It’s good to know that if anything happens to my tv in the next 5 years that I’m covered. The cost of the 5 year warranty imo is fair.

They resolved my issue by replacing my TV with a bigger model after seeing that my TV was unrepairable. Awesome job Geek Squad!

They were booked out a month, but with things being the way they are these days, I understand. I needed their help to finish setting up our TV. I was so glad we bought the coverage! The way electronics are built these days, I always opt in for the insurance. The tech was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable! I only wish they had more knowledgeable customer/phone support. My issue probably could have been solved over the phone.

A week prior to getting the protection i was offered it at the time of purchase and i got an extremely cheap open box 4k sony tv and the price of it brand new was $2500, the open box item i was buying was $700 and at the time our purchase they wanted to charge me the protection of a $2500 tv which came out to $550 for 5 years protection, so i went in a week later and a young man helped me get it figured out and I got the protection for the price that I had actually paid for and I was very very satisfied!!!!
