I purchased this 9 months ago and it was delivered and set up by the Geek squad. They did an awesome job and showed me how to use the tv. am an older lady and live alone. The tv worked fine until 2 days before Christmas when vertical lines appeared instead of a picture. As it is supposedly under a one year warranty l called Toshiba who referred me to Hisense customer service. After an hour of troubleshooting and texting them my receipt and everything else they asked for they asked me to take a picture of the screen. I did and sent it to them. They first turned me down because the receipt wasn’t in the proper format. When they decided the online receipt was okay they then told me l must have damaged the screen. I have never even touched the screen. I live alone and the tv had not been moved. It became obvious that they were just looking for reasons not to honor the warranty. So buyer beware. Toshiba/ Hisense do not honor their warranty and your tv could die after 9 months. No more Toshiba or Hisense products for me.

Tv feels great, looks great i can’t complain i had a pioneer 55 inch before i got the Roku tv Pioneer was awful! Black outs no picture and thank you geek squad for the quick response into helping me get a new tv under the manufacturer warranty, they are very helpful and every flexible and fast thank you Really worth the putting the protection plans on the tvs saved me 200 bucks!

This is a very good television for kitchen space. It is a larger TV for the kitchen with a 27-inch screen that is designed to fit under most kitchen counter spaces. I understand it can serve well as a computer monitor according to other positive reviews. The LED picture quality is excellent. For reference, my input source is an over-the-air antenna and streaming signals which has an uncompressed quality signal, versus cable. The unit sound is very good. Some other reviews downgrade the speaker quality but you can easily adjust the sound for different types of video in the settings. The TV is not heavy for its size. Another positive, it rests on its flat base instead of having a stand. Now for two cons depending on your set-up and desire for a TV. First, the wall plug is a large adapter wall plug which is a small obstacle depending on your A/C power access. You can always use an extension cord or other adapter between the wall outlet and TV adapter plug-in as necessary, not a real problem. Secondly and more significantly, the unit comes with a standard remote instead of a more capable 'magic' type remote found on other sets. The problem here is that the television recognizes voice but the remote does not have this feature to match the TV capability. It is a standard remote without a 'microphone' button found on more capable LG 'magic remotes.' Surprisingly, LG does not even offer another compatible, capable LG remote with voice recognition for this model set. The 'only' workaround is to download the "LQ thinQ" app to your smartphone for voice recognition to reach the television. That would be a reason to rate four stars here. It may not be a deal breaker, but definitely leaves one to question... why?

Hah! Just in time! I forgot that I had purchased the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan until the other day when I found my receipt for TV. 11 months ago we bought a new 55" Insignia Fire TV. For the past month it has been changing channels in the middle of movies/programs and going to the TV Guide. Sometimes the TV just shuts off. So anyways, I found the protection plan, called Geek Squad and had an in person service call within 2 days! Now that is awesome service!! They come tomorrow. I hope they can figure it out as this new TV has been a lemon since we bought it last December 11 months ago.

I always purchase my electronics and appliances through best buy. They always have the best prices and will price match if not. I always opt for the additional Geek squad protection. Ive always been satisified with the process of filing claims as its very easy. When looking at a big purchase I consider the length of the protection plan when choosing where I buy. Best buy always has the longest protection plans for the best price. Always buy geek squad protection you wont regret it!

I got the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection because the protection that comes with being a member doesn't cover parts and it's an expensive top-of-the-line TV. I've purchased this before with my older TV and needed to be fixed before the 5 years were up. They sent someone to make sure it was broken, and within an hour, got a credit for a new TV. Best deal ever if you're buying an expensive TV. Futureproof!

Excellent t v great quality unbelievable price Some of the reviews have to be lying Because the upscaling is terrific.Old shows like Seinfeld look great. I couldn't recommend this TV more.

I am currently writing my review using my LG tv paired with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I was impressed from the very start, unboxing. The television was well packed and protected, removal from the box was easy and well thought out. We mounted the television on the wall it took 2 people but was easy as was hooking up the cables. Setting up everything was very easy with on screen instructions, connection to the internet was quick and easy, watching programs in no time. The picture is amazing, sound quality is great, lots of features. The Magic Remote is a great accessory to have, it allows you to control the TV by using the buttons or pointing at the TV and using the selector wheel, there is also voice control, the hardest part may be deciding which option to use. The remote can also control other devices such as a cable box ,there are many apps installed like Hulu, YouTube , Netflix, and others. LG Channels is installed and is like having your own free cable service. We thoroughly love and enjoy the LG NANO series TV with AI ThinQ and recommend to any one. Update, I really like the magic remote and the app screen. There are so many different apps to choose from and the magic remote makes navigation easy , the more I use it the more I want to use it. After using my tv for a while we are still loving it. I think my favorite feature is the magic remote and how easy it makes navigating the home screen. Just press the home button and all my options appear on screen, I can choose from apps like Netflix, youtube, disney+ and more or I can go to the home dashboard where it is easy to understand the different tv inputs or options. while you are in the home dashboard you can still watch you favorite program. Lots to explore and use , a great experience.

What a great tv. My fist big tv. Watched a movie the first night. What a treat that was. The sound is amazing, like a theater. The picture is great, the remote has a learning curve. No numbers so it takes a bit the get to far away channels. Had a struggle rescanning for channels. Online was no help. Zero.

I've been a loyal Samsung TV person for years. Any time I'm looking for a TV, I'll always get a Samsung. I purchased a TV from Best Buy in 2012 and it finally started to go out. I replaced it with the same size to fit inside my TV stand and this one has a great picture and more features. For under $200, you really can't beat that. Great quality at a great price.

About 3 TV's ago I started buying the Geek Squad 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan automatically with the purchase of a flat screen TV regardless of the brand/model. I learned that modern day TV's are only rated to last 2 to 3 years. Now while all have outlasted the 3 year mark, they started to fail in the 4th years. In both cases the tv's begain to show faint lines in the picture. Upon noticing the lines I called Best Buy's Geek Squad and my protection plan got me my money back on the TV's! I was then able to use that money to buy a new replacement TV. Not only that, I was allowed to keep the failing tv until both screens went completely black. So in these cases this plan was worth every penny.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use the Geek Squad very often over the past 20 years. My purchases have been cameras, lenses & gear, appliances and other electronics (phones, TV's, stereo, computers, etc.) But, when needed I have found them (GS) to be prompt, understanding, accommodating & helpful. I prefer having these services local & convenient. I have used B & H, Amazon, etc. but it always involves shipping and no person-to-person contact.

We finally got this 86 inch NanoCell LG TV set up over the weekend and let me start by saying it’s amazing! We may need to get a bigger TV stand because it’s so huge! The picture quality is out of this world, very high definition. We have already streamed a few movies on it from the built in smart features it comes with, Netflix being one of the many. It feels like you are actually at the movie theater! The fact that it comes equipped with Alexa already built in is also a bonus. We have it synced with our other Alexa’s to change the channel or shut the TV off on its own just by telling Alexa to do it. The remote is also awesome! It has a roller ball on it similar to a computer mouse. There is a cursor that shows up on the screen when you point the remote at it. So you just use the cursor to click on whatever feature or channel you want, it’s very cool!! My 6 year old loves playing with it and it makes it so easy for her to work the tv. There is also a microphone button on the remote so she can speak into it and tell it what to do. Smart TV’s have come so far and this one definitely does not lack in the creativity department! It also is great for gaming. The characters look so life like and real, my husband loves that! I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new TV to try this out!

The technicians were very professional from the get-go. They understood that they couldn’t park in the street because double parking they would’ve got a ticket so they were humble enough to go and park in the back alley which wound up being better. They were very courteous they picked up after themselves. They kept the chitchat to very minimal amongst themselves. They explained everything thoroughly and how the television worked and what to expect.

Hisense 65QD7N is a very nice tv with bright colors. I liked the fact that it had 4 hdmi connections with speeds up to 2.1. It is not too heavy so it is easy to mount it on the wall by yourself. I also bought Geek Squad protection plan to have peace of mind for 5 years. Unfortunatelly the one corner of the tv had a white cloud, which was very disturbing while watching dark scenes, so I contacted Hisense customer service and they decided after sending the repair technician that my TV is a lemon, so they sent me a check for full refund. I did not have to use Geek Squad plan as My tv was still on manufactures warranty period. Bestbuy returned the money for unused protection plan. Great service from Hisense and Bestbuy. Overall good experience as ended up with buying Samsung S90d Oled which is perfect.
