I bought the coverage for a TV. When the TV wouldn't turn on it was replaced with a new one.

Definitely buy the product warranty. My father had the insurance on his tv, and after owning the tv for just over 4 years, the picture started to show grey lines in the picture. The tv couldn’t be fixed. Because he had the insurance, Best Buy issued a credit for the tv and we used it to buy a bigger and better tv for just a few dollars out of pocket! Buy the insurance!!

I often skip protection plans. Decided 4 years ago to purchase one for my TV. Repaired once (appeared to be a manufacturer defect) and the instead of repairing the safe defect a 2nd time, gave us the equivalent of a replacement at no cost. You never know with electronics. Geek Squad were easy to schedule and efficient on the repair and quickly enabling the replacement to be processed.

It's also the least-expensive service I've tested and includes a license for top-notch security software. Geek Squad technicians, on the whole, delivered the best results among the services tested, and they didn't pester me to purchase additional products.

I purchased the monitor and it was broken as to wear you couldn’t see it until the monitor was turned on. I didn’t really need my warranty because it was a new purchase however I did my return and replacement through Geek squad and they were polite and helpful

The extra warranty is well worth it my tv suddenly died and with the warrant they gave me a new tv!

It’s always good to have protection, especially in any case

I am usually not a warranty guy, but I finally overcame my fears and got an OLED TV and this is one time I felt the cost was justified. Turns out Best Buy's warranty is the only one in the business that covers burn-in! I was so afraid to get an OLED< but with the peace of mind this gives me I am able to enjoy gaming and movies on the best TV I have ever laid eyes on. If the dreaded burn-in happens, Best Buy has my back.

We always purchase the Best Buy Protection Plan on all our items. No Hassle, No Worries. We have used it several times.

I havent used it but it does offer peace of mind knowing im covered.
