I always get protection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always believe in purchasing extended warranty on expensive items and this TCL 65" Q TV was no exception. In the past whenever I had problems with my other TV's, etc. the Geek Squad was right there to make things right saving me a lot more $ than the Best Buy protection cost. It really is a good investment.

Good Value for Geek Squad

technically very capable, but neglected by Sony

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 year old product running android version 4 years old (Android 10) and never having received a major update. furthermore, Sony added ps5 remote play support to Android 12+ TVs when their most "affordable" (but expensive!) ps5 friendly TV model which launched years AFTER ps5 is well behind that update version. Additionally... major holes in USB support, you cannot use ANY app other the built in media player for media on USB (it'll ask you to approve permission on next screen then error when trying to go to next screen).... streaming apps perform horribly with long buffer times and never load thumbnails, and available storage capacity is also horrible only allowing you to install at most about 15 apps

Geek Squad came thru
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad was accommodating in that they replaced my 5 year warranty that was purchased in April of 2017 and gave me a new one that started with my new TV purchased October 2020, they had to replace since my old tv that I purchased in April 2017 was damaged when it was sent to be repaired by Geek Squad.

There when you need them

They came out and determined the problem. Got parts and installed. When this did not fix the problem, they gave me the option of returning my year old TV for a full refund of the TV, tax, and 4/5 of my Geek Squad. I then bought a brand new TV with better features. Great service!

Great Warranty

Salesperson was very helpful. Basically, best buy will cover for any repairs except if it is a physical problem. Just incase your television will not totally work.. You can get another tv same or close to what you bought or they will give you the money back (perhaps a store credit). I think it is a good idea.

And hopefully you dont need to call on them for much but its great to know they got you when needed. Always helps to have pro on call.

GEEK SQUAD 5 YEAR SUPPORT

My computers have lasted much longer with the Geek Squad help too.

They have always gone above and beyond to refund, repair, replace, in order to take care of their customers.

Great TV FOR PRICE

Worth it!

I wouldn't get for cheap items, but anything over $500 is definitely worth it! I buy many items from best buy, and always get the protection plan for major items.

My old LCD TV was only 2 years old when the picture went out. All I had to do was bring the TV into Best Buy Geek Squad and they sent it out for repair. A few days later, I was issued credit in full for a new TV because it was to costly to repair. I used the credit twords a bigger and better TV.
