I have been dealing with Best Buy for over 15 years. I always purchase their Geek Squad protection plan if it is offered, regardless of what I purchased. I remember all too well the high cost of simple fixes on my computers before I became aware of Best Buy's Geek Squad. They will save you loads of money, believe me.

If you are buying any type of electronic you should also be protecting your investment with a protection plan! Electronics are electronics and stuff can go wrong and if you have protection, you have NO worries in the world on your investment!

A must add on with new equipment. Even if you don’t even use it, it’s worth it for the peace of mind.

I always get the extra warranty for all my electronics, We bought a 55in Sharp back in 2012 after 4 years the LED panel blew out and I had the 5 year extended warranty, The TV was not only replaced I was given full credit for the old TV and was able to upgrade to the newest model for only a few more dollars.

With having two kids, who broke my last TV, it was a no brainer to go with the 5 year warranty! This will be the last TV I have to purchase for a long time, so I wanted to make sure nothing happens to it in the next 5 years!

I honestly don't know how good their service is. I have heard good things, though. I bought extended protection in case something goes wrong with my TV, so hooefully it is good. I honestly hope i dont have to use it, lol.

awesome tv , a huge upgrade of the one have years ago, no we can enjoy watching series and movies, so easy to setup

I get geek squad on everything over 100 bucks, it's the ease and confidence that you would expect. Instead of having to deal with the manufacture and getting rma #, then paying for shipping, waiting... non-sense I rather get this and if something does go wrong they handle it in the store usually with a swap out or equal value.

Keep your tv protected from accidents or electrical failures.

Outstanding service contract. The price was right and the coverage is great. It gives me peace of mind to know that my electronics are covered by a great contract. One might take a chance and go without the contract, but, i'd rather be safe than sorry.

Are you really going to consider not getting the protection plan? Geek Squad is great and this plan gives the peace of mind of knowing that your purchase is protected outside of the flimsy manufacturer warranty that requires so much hoop jumping to get validated! Come on, for the price, it is a foolish thing to not purchase it.

Great price just in case. Esp for older family members when you’re not around to help.
