NICE SONY BRAVIA SMART TV

Brought it back the next day, no hassle return too, because it was just too big for our small living room and the sound was not great either. We exchanged it for a 48 inch Sony Bravia TV. That was the best move we could have made. The picture is crisp, the sound is incredible from the built in speakers, much better than the LG, and it is a SMART TV also. Price was right too. I have to say also that the salesman who helped us was tremendous. Very knowledgeable and courteous. It's nice when you can get answers to questions you don't know to ask. We have never been fans of Best Buy, but I believe this whole experience turned us around. They really know their stuff. Thank You.....

Almost an essential buy

Our LG tv developed an issue with the screen turning purple across the entire screen shortly after its warranty expired. When we looked online, it was very apparent that LG knew about this issue, and was not standing behind their products. Fortunately we had purchased the warranty so most of the cost of a replacement was covered. Was some confusion that 3 people in the store and management chain told us the entire purchase price would be applied when we purchased a more expensive replacement, but then the manager who rung the 2 tvs we were buying all the sudden the deal changed and we didn't get full credit. A little fishy, but we were still glad we had the warranty.

Protection for TV..

Have had issues in past with Geek Squad protection plans (had to go to Corp to get it covered as store refused to honor it).. But in the end got the other product replaced. Was told that this would not be an issue this time but only time will tell. Worth it if you have the time to call Corp to make sure you are able to use it should the store refuse..

5 Year Geek Squad Protection Plan

I took it to Best Buy with the warranty paperwork. Less than a week later, I received an email that they were declining to make the repair and that I could come in and present the email and get a replacement TV. That is what we did and the process was seamless and also painless. I am pleased that we had that warranty.

FIVE YEAR GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION PLAN

Geek squad protection plan… a TOTAL MUST!

Tv bought in 2017 just had the screen go out on me , so Geek squad came and looked at it (now being 2022 and the TV is almost 5 years old ) and determined it couldn’t be fixed so I received the full amount of what I had paid for the TV , to purchase a new one. Once again , totally worth every penny and best protection plan that was easy to use and fast to fix the issue.

Geek squad protection is a must

If you are buying anything from best buy, it is worth spending a fee bucks for the geek squad protection. I got a sony TV and installed the tv stands. I noticed after my installation that the TV was shaking and it could fall down. I called best buy and the Geek Squad team were very happy to help.

Geek Squad Service is the Best Buy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm now retired from Best Buy after working in the Magnolia Department for 13 years, & I'm a "True Believer" in the Geek Squad In-Home Protection for 5 years, on my mom's TV. Her TV is on at least 12 hours a day, & has Roku built in application, & it's 4K ready, so her TV features will be utilized a lot. She's also, bed ridden & her new TCL is her entertainment. If this set should break down (Doesn't cover physical damage), then all I have to do is call 1-8000-GEEK-SQUAD, & they'll come out to service it or replace it !
