I experienced a few issues with my five year old 4K LG, and Geek Squad personnel were very diligent about resolving them. The pleasant experience with Geek Squad personnel made the five year Protection Plan on my Sony XR65A95K an easy decision.

What's there to say about Geek Squad?! It's a great service for a great price. I wouldn't be without them.

This very much helps a lot when you have big purchases. You need to protect your products at all times and geek. Squad protection is very helpful.

Haven't had the need to use this service, but it's always good to have that extra safety net.

Love purchasing yheir insurance. Always feel like I'm in good hands in case of an accident.

If I am going to invest in such a expensive item as my 75 in tv [X900F], then I have to purchase insurance on this. Hope I never have to use it. Always rely on Best Buy for a lot of my needs, especially my major electronics. They are quite knowledgeable and eager to provide their input. Please, do ever remove this store so close from my home here in Kendall.

Purchase protections plans selectively. When I've had an issue replacement easy.

Very helpful and as my tv still under 2 year warranty just got new one to replace old one well worth it

Haven't had to use Geek Squad yet for any broken items but have purchased open box items in the past that they have certified and the items are always exactly as described so they seem to know how to rate items and what comes with and how to use a device. Geek Squad was also instrumental with getting me a refund on an installation gone bad on my dishwasher (note - Geek Squad wasn't the installer).

I've have received nothing but fabulous service from the Geek Squad. I highly suggest them!

It is always good to get the protection plan on almost everything, some things have defects & what not. I bought a brand new tv had it a lil over a month & started to see red dots in several places called the geek squad they sent someone out & it had to be replaced, had i not had that protection plan i would have been on my own, at least get the two yrs if nothing else

The previous TV was under extended warranty, that really saved us. Highly recommend buying the extended warranty, lightning or electrical surge protection well worth it. We have a High dollar surge protector, it DID NOT prevent or protect or TV.

I haven't had to use the protection plan, but it's coverage is robust and puts my worries at ease.

I know people look at warranties as a way for companies to gain more money from you, but I am a BIG fan of Best Buy's warranties. For one, why would you spend hundreds of dollars on a product and not cover it? You don't buy a car and not get insurance? I've had great luck with ALL of my electronics (knock on wood) but I still don't want to risk it. If I spend hundreds of dollars on a product, its an investment that I want to make sure is covered.

I love geek service, but i dont think I needed it for my lg g3 tv. So i canceled it

Great product to have for those expensive items! Unfortunately we had to us it numerous times for our 70 in. 4K t.v. and had to swap out for a new set in just 4 months. With a bit of back and forth, was able to get the warranty prorated and transferred to the new set. Otherwise, the warranty is considered fulfilled once a new set comes into play. This part of the policy I do not agree with. Even so, I would still recommend it

I purchased geek squad protection for a previously purchased TV which quit working 2 weeks before the coverage period ended. I was given a full refund with no hassle at all. I recommend paying for the extra protection for any large purchases.

Had geek squad on my samsung fridge and it really paid off(twice). You should definitely get it for large applicances asstuff isn't made like it used to be....and these nice things are very expensive when they break.
