    Always purchase the Geek Squad Svc Agreement

    Best Buy offers Geek Squad protection and service agreements on all their TV's, computers, appliances, etc. The service agreement packages are all fairly reasonable, and since most manufacturers only guarantee their products for one year, extending the warranty through Geek Squad is a great value. Over the past ten years, I have purchased multiple TV's and computers through Best Buy. I have also purchased service agreements for all those purchases. On several occasions, my TV or computer has needed a repair at apprx the 5 year mark (from date of purchase). Geek Squad diagnosed the issue and determined that the product needed to be replaced. Since I had an extended warranty, Best Buy delivered a brand new product. No hassels, just good service.

    This is a great added service for non technical people like me! I don't have to worry about messing it up as if I did, they would be able to fix it with ease and promptness.

    THIS SERVICE ROCKS! So I bought Geek Squad service for an LG tv. After a couple years of use, the LG tv quit working properly. A Geek Squad repairman came out to repair it. They ordered parts and needed to return for a second repair. Nothing was able to fix it, so I was able to return to the store and replace my TV with a newer model. Ended up going back to Samsung TVs as I have never needed to have them go bad on me, but I still renewed my Geek Squad service for 5 years. Its a great piece of mind!

    Warranty is great to have. Replaced my TV that went out.I have had two TV’s replaced with the extended warranty. Just make sure they take the old TV with them.

    I have not had to use this time I bought the protection. It does however give me piece of mind. Another time I bought this protection and did have to use it and it was easy to have them take care of everything.

    We always purchase a protection plan for high ticket items and this was one of our best decisions! We had purchased a Samsung - 75" Class (74.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV in 2015. This summer (2020) I noticed certain anomalies that I felt should be checked out by the Geek Squad. They came to the house in a timely manner to examine the TV and it was determined that the TV had a problem that could not be fixed due to it's age. The Protection plan generously rebated an extremely fair amount of value back to us that enabled us to upgrade to an OLED. Purchase of the plan was worth every penny we paid at the time!

    2-Year Protection worth it on an expensive TV

    In light of how much the TV cost itself, the pricing for the 2 yr service protection was worth it; but not any longer. I figure any real problem will likely happen within the 2 years. after that, repairs might not even be worth it as technology moves so fast.

    I always get my best buy products with extra warranty insurance. Have never had any issues with warranty work. Couple of years back I bought a refrigerator and the ice maker was repaired 3 times. After the fourth time the ice maker broke best buy lemoned the refrigerator and worked up the paper work then told me to pick out a new refrigerator with store credit of the original cost of the faulty lemonade refrigerator. Great investment.

    I'm not a technology-minded person. As a result, I want someone I can call if I have a question about the product I've purchased, or a problem arises. Having Geek Squad protection gives me peace of mind because I know I can call them 24/7 (yes, I've called them in the middle of the night), and they will help me.     So currently I am creating a claim my tv is broken not sure what happened to the tv I just bought a month and half ago I kept calling and I was hung up on twice also when I finally spoke to someone he told me I broke my tv and I was not covered I clearly said I’m not sure what happened I spent 1500 why would I break my tv I need someone to come see what’s wrong I asked to speak to someone’s else and he told me I couldn’t because nobody was there I really don’t know what the outcome will be but I will keep you guys posted I have the 5 year warranty that I spent over 100$ for smh like even if it’s a screen repair I don’t see an physical damage to the tv screen is not busted or anything just lines so I’m not sure smh worst experience ever and this will be the last they get me with something so worthless

    Glad to know my TV is protected by Geek Squad. My TV is protected for 5 years for a convenient price. Last TV was destroyed during moving not taking the same chances again.

    I was ready to order my TV online and was in my cart. I figured since I had to pick it up in the store, I may as well take a look at it first. I went to the store to see it but they did not have that tv up. Online it offered 3 years geek squad for $74.99 which I wanted but since I was there I bought it in store. Near the end of sale the guy said 3 year warranty was not available in store. He said 2 year year for $69.99 or 5 year for $124.99. For $5 extra I could have gotten an extra year. Didn’t want to tell him to void the sale in case he was making commission during these tough times. Any ch as nice I can upgrade my warranty?

    100 % recommended Standard Geek Squad Protection Plan. I brought this plan for my cell phone and I had functional damage to my phone. Geek Squad service team member had given good response and changed my phone with brand now. thanks to Standard Geek Squad Protection.
