Definitely would recommend getting the warranty for any TV, because many things could stop working such as the picture display or connection ports.

Always purchase the plan. Good to have. My 2013 TV stopped working. I was covered till 2018. Wasn't able to fix TV. I was reimbursed for the price I paid for TV in 2013.

Always get protection on my items, because anything happen I know it will be fix or replaced for free.
