I alwaysbuh the extended warranty no fuss on returning something that's broke because I know they will replace it.

Replacement rules are a joke! My Samsung 50” QLED TV started showing black lines at the bottom so naturally I called geek squad to troubleshoot. The Geek Squad guy (who was very nice) determined I was not at fault and that it was a quality control issue so the tv needed to get replaced. He got in touch with the “GEEK SQUAD EXHANGE SUPPORT TEAM” and facilitated the exchange process. When I followed up with the Geek Squad Exchange Support Team, I was initially assured by the representative that I would be refunded the amount that my tv was worth or at least an amount that was very close to the original price that I paid. THAT WASNT THE CASE! I was shortchanged over $120 short of the original price of my tv. I WAS LIVID because that is so illogical to me! I asked if my particular tv that would be getting replaced (50” samsung QLED) had depreciated since I purchased it last year. The representative said that the shortchanged refunded price was not due to depreciation. The reason was they use a moronic and flawed computer program that determines the comparable price to be refunded. Once my tv’s info was entered into this computer program, it turns out that my particular tv “doesnt exist anymore” so the next random tv with so called “matching specs” had to be chosen. Well this sucks because the tv chosen was $200 cheaper than my tv and didnt even have the same specs! That is not comparable or close to the original price like the rep assured me. So Im out over $120. AND CHECK THIS OUT! A newer version of my QLED tv WITH THE EXACT SAME SPECS is currently for sale now on Best Buy’s website. And guess what? It is exactly the same price I paid for my “nonexistent” model! THAT IS WHACK BEYOND COMPREHENSION! This is the last time I buy a tv from Best Buy because their contractual terms for replacements need to be completely REVISED! If your tv breaks & you choose this service plan, you better pray your particular tv still exists if it breaks. If not, you face being CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY!

Oh this is by far the best, children are 10 and 7 so this is a great option, they will fix it and have it back in a nice time frame.

I get these plans to be reassure my stuff will be taken care of if anything happens

I always try to purchase everything I can from Best Buy due to there warranty and geek protection.

Ive used protection plans in the past. Really made thongs easy when i actually had to replace a part.

Haven’t had to use yet but the peace of mind is worth it as I have used other plans on different items.

Bought this protection plan to protect my new 43 in Tv. Glad I did because my old tv did not last a year.

I thought I just reviewed this. Now I am doing it for the point that I never see added to my account.

Have had to use this a few times and I am always very happy with the service that geek squad provides.

I can not say anything about the warranty that I have purchased so folk make sure you get that extra protection.

I am uncertain how to own an electronic peace of equipment and not have Geek Squad. One call and they do it all.

I love the coverage Best Buy / Geek squad provide... so if I come across a problem I feel good about this coverage

Return / exchange process was very quick and easy.

Good protection plan for my tv money value excellent

It is worth the investment in case any thing goes wrong. Had on other products and Best Buy handled the problem with no problem or questions asked.

I bought this TV on Black Friday. Not really expecting a great TV for the price but boy have I been surprised! The picture is awesome! easy hookup Love it!

Even though we return the TV, he squad is a must since TVs don’t last as long as they used to.

Haven't had to use it yet, but it feels good knowing I'm protected.
