    With a tv that didn’t fit in my car, they helped dearly with getting the return pushed back out (has to be rechecked by tech) and put it on hold til I could come back for my open box purchase! They, the first gentleman I spoke to on the phone to make the purchase & the whole best buy team at the location I visited helped amazingly!!!

    Decided to go with this just in case….but we’ve had Roku before with no issues. But for the price, I think it’s worth it. Hopefully we won’t need it.

    Workers were professional and knowledgable. Told exactly where I wanted the Tv and they were able to do exactly that. They were also cleaned their work area when they were done. Grest work guys. Thanks.

    Your utility from this service is going to vary greatly depending on the products and services you purchase, The amount of time you are OK with devoting to setting up your own devices, and your level of technical competence and education. For me, this service is not something I would use most of the time - BUT - for certain product categories like OLED displays, the peace of mind is worth the extra cost, knowing I can exchange the display for a replacement if it burns in or has another failure during the warranty period. Overall, it really depends on your personal needs, but this service definitely has its place, and can be a real value depending on your situation.

    Geek squad has the best protect 4 years tv went dow best buy came to house realized tv could not be fick in 30 minutes I have an email with a code to take to store or go on line and get my new tv for free

    Well worth it considering most new TV’s only last 5-7 years tops. This way I am covered and can maybe save money in long run.

    The protection plan makes me feel safe that the tv will be working in top condition for at least 5 years.

    I'm very happy with the five year extra warranty.I didn't think, however it was.Especially a great buy to get it.Thought it would be a little bit less

    Definitely recommend getting this for large purchases. I've never needed to use it. But it definitely is a peace of mind. I know people that have used it. I have a family member that Is a best buy manager and they fully recommend it as it does pay for itself most tye time

    I purchased the 5 year warranty plan for the protection for my new appliance. I wanted a warranty that would be beneficial in case I had any problems with my tv.

    NOT WORTH IT! (For Tv's)

    I purchased a TV in 2016, I also purchased the warranty for it and the representative helping me out told me that it covered accidental damage/handling and that is why I purchased it. I've always been loyal to best buy because of their warranty, I've gotten so many friends to purchase their electronics there because of it. But when I called regarding my TV and the fact that my son tipped it over and it broke the girl (Tania from the phone hub) told me I can call to make an appointment and geek squad would come out, assess the damage and they would give me a call when they would issue my credit/return. I called the 1800number and Joe from recon in Maine literally laughed when I told him and he said "uh no, you're only covered against lightning strikes essentially and manufacturers defects. I promptly told him that I live in Las Vegas and there's a bigger reason to sell warranty that covers heat since lighting (and rain) only happen a few days out of the year. But the entire time he was condescending and giggling. I am VERY dissatisfied and the fact that I got three different answers angers me because I spend a couple hundred on the warranty and it covers nothing essentially. I've purchased EVERY single electronic from Best Buy for the past 15 years and I will no longer shop there. Not only that but I'll voice my opinion on the fact that warranty on the TVs is essentially useless, specially if you live in an arid climate since your representative "Joe" claims it only covers against lightning. Customer service is also a joke, if you call 5 different times and speak to 5 different people then you get 5 different answers. Anger can only begin to express how I feel for wasting my time, money and being fed false hope in the wake of what happened to my TV.
