    The Geek Squad agent was very polite and helpful!! He corrected the issue with my Samsung Smart Tv very quickly the agent was very friendly and really was most qualified geek Squad member I have ever had the pleasure of being serviced by this knowledgeable and very professional person

    bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

    I was a little reluctant at 1st to spend $450 for a 5 year warranty for my Samsung - 85" Class Q70A Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. After reading the customer reviews from the customers that didn’t purchase it really regretted not purchasing the warranty. I feel much more comfortable now that I purchased the warranty for my tv.

    Five year peace of mind on an Insignia TV.

    The five year warranty seemed like a good choice when purchasing my first Insignia brand TV. I had previously always purchased a major national brad and wanted a bit of peace of mind. I have not yet needed the warranty after just a few months but that is all going.

    I’ve been using geek squad for all my purchases for the past 4yrs and it’s amazing the coverage you get at Best Buy with this plan take it form someone who really doesn’t purchase coverage for her items because there’s always a catch with all other companies but Geek Squad is amazing truly recommendable.

    Geek Squad Protection Plan The Best

    Most protection plans are a waste of money but this plan is money well spent. After 3 years my OLED tv’s picture went bad and Geek Squad replaced it with a brand new top of the line tv. I am extremely happy and I highly recommend this protection plan to everyone with a high end tv.

    Extended Warranty Programs

    Through the years I have purchased numerous extended warranties. Some I never got to use or test. Of Those that I have had the experience of using, most have been disappointing for several reasons. However, for the added cost, Best Buy's Geek Squad's Protection has never disappointed. In fact, I have had several occasions to have to use the Protection Plan's I have purchased and never been disappointed and in fact, the results have surprised me at how great the coverage is. If you get anything from Best Buy that has a extended Protection Plan, I recommend it whole heartedly!

    If you intend to purchase anything of significance then you ought to seriously consider adding extra service and protection. Geek squad will not repair or replace anything that has malfunctioned or been damaged but also provide technical support for you by answering any questions you may have and assisting with any installation or compatibility issues you may run into. This is a no brainer for me.

    The Geek Squad gives you all the reassurance you need with a new product that IF anything goes wrong, you're covered. Samsung has a good warranty but with the Geek Squad behind you the worries are gone.

    Peace of mind

    As electronics get more and more complicated and how susceptible they are to conditions it give me peace of mind. I recently had a 50" TV repaired in home by Geek Squad on the plan. They were quick, efficient, and fixed the issue. Without this plan I would have been out an expensive TV after only 2 years. I don't get this on everything I buy. But I buy it on a lot of electronics. I don't always use it. But without it I would have been out more money than the plans cost me.

    So worth the cost! These guys are true professionals. No way I could have set my TV up without them. Super knowledge about product and what was needed to get the most out of it. Kind, courteous, respectful and extremely patient. Incredible customer service!
