    GS saved my LIFE

    GS agents were patient, efficient, and made me feel confident they knew what I needed to get up and running with my system. My old laptop had 10+ years of family photos, professional files and my financial records. The device was dying a painful death but GS transferred all fills to new device.

    If you're looking to get a Geek Squad warranty start off with a one or two-year you can always add on. If you start out with the 5-year like I did on my TV spent $380 on it. My TV broke after nine months and I lost for years worth of warranty because it doesn't transfer over to the TV they replace it with so you have to buy a brand new warranty on the new free TV they give you. On my new TV I just got the 2-year and they said they would email me when it's fixing to run out so I can add another two years to it

    This is the second time I’ve purchased the extra coverage. It’s well worth it! My last TV quit working and it was a very simple process to get it exchanged. I received back my purchase price as a store credit to use on my new (better) TV.

    The geek squad technicians that came to my home to service my tv were very good. However, the customer service on the phone, scheduling (a 12 HOUR WINDOW) and the lack of follow through (being told someone will call me back or email me) from the escalation team and never hearing from anyone. And being told that there must be 3 SERVICE CALLS (not including diagnostic ones) in order for them to replace the broken tv) made this a very bad customer service experience.

    I love the 2 year replacement option better, it's not offered on the TV's. I've gotten 2 out of 3 bad TV's from Best Buy in the last 5 years and had I not purchased this, I would have been out my money. I suggest if you are buying a TV, just pay the extra cash and get a good named brand one like Samsung or Vizio. DO NOT go with the Toshiba or Hisense TV's, they SUCK and you are throwing your money away.

    If you are purchasing a high end tv or high end Home theater setup, get this. I am not a believer in protection plans for almost all products , but i have purchased this for Both of my LG tvs and i am so glad i did,. Had issues with burn in on my first LG and Geek Squad was extremely helpful and lived up to the warranty. EXCELLENT< THANK YOU BEST BUY!!!!!

    So far so good. My TV remote broke, I brought it to bestbuy, they took it and sent me a neq one in a few days! I bought the 5 year warranty for my 55" oled LG TV because all the reviews said it gets burn in on the screen...it's been 3years and NOburn-in, absolutely no issues at all.
