I have been a believer in having this extra protection. I have had to use the warranty to replace a tv in the past. There was no hesitation on the part of Best Buy to honor the warranty even close to the end date. You should definitely purchase this protection. I intend to go with the five-year warranty in the future.

I purchased the extended warranty as I’m single and know nothing about electronics. I consider it an insurance policy on my mental health!

I realize that this review is for a protection plan. But here you go. In the past when I've had to use my protection plan, I was always happy that I had it. Other companies offer protection plans but there is always the "fine print". Not here . Best Buy is Awesome with customer service and honoring this plan. Hassle-free. Buy it... just in case. you never know when you might need it.

Hopefully I will not need to use this service, but it is always bestto be prepared and it covers 5 years, so that is great.

I bought 3 laptops last fall. Had an issue with mine a month in...called Geek squad, fixed online! Yay! My wife had an issue shortly after, Geek Squad fixed it online! My laptop lost a solid state hard drive. No online fix here, but I took it to the store,quick diagnostic,mailed off and returned to my home in a week fixed. This waS $ well spent. Geek Squad Rocks!

I have not used the Geek Squad on this tv yet but I have on past purchases and have always been pleased. That is why I bought the service for this TV.

Got this for my 1st expensive TV. Haven’t had to use it but have used this warranty before for different products. Best Buy does a wonderful job and are quick to respond

Absolute garbage OS. Won’t connect using Ethernet using a 1Gbps fiber connection. Won’t stay connected on Wi-Fi 6 mesh. Can’t login using TV or app. Won’t update apps because they’re not installed but they’re also installed by default? Can’t add tv as a device because my email is already registered to the device? Replacing with Sony. $4.5k piece of garbage.

I purchased additional protection to make sure I would have no issues. I was replacing a tv that had only lasted 2 years so this seemed like a great value.

I recently was able to get a brand new replacement Smart TV from Best Buy because I had this plan! I usually do buy extended protection plans and have never regretted doing so--especially when I hear friends and family say they have expensive repairs on electronics that are out of warranty.

I pick up this extended warranty you never know when it brake down and cover everything

The agents handle my TV magnificently they took it out of the box and plugged everything in for me

It’s a must have when purchasing a great TV, you will have peace of mind.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I always but the protection plans. I have a kid that can be hard on his electronics and this covers everything.

This was well worth the price... we had a lightning strike, a few months after we purchased the TV and they ordered and replaced the Mainboard within two weeks. Works great now.

It’s all just a big gamble isn’t it. Unless you have had first hand experience with other LG televisions. My LG television just died a little before its 5th anniversary. Maybe the television was on way more than normal during the 2 years of Covid. Anyway, decided it might be wise to have the Geek Squad on my side for this purchase.

haven't used them yet. What more can I say. I will let you know when I have to use them. I hope I never need them

An agent brought our new TV to our hone and set it up. He was fast, thorough. Before we bought this TV, we needed a Tech to come to our home to check out the TV. A problem was identified and repairs made, all on our schedule. They came when we needed them. So grateful for this service.

Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

I like the five year warranty my TV went bad and they're going to exchange it with no problems
