this is the third year in a row that I've belonged to the GS service. so easy when computer idiot here cannot get something to go right or just to even have a tune-up done every couple of months. does require you to be semi-present at computer to talk with your live agent, but worth it.

Great visual quality plex has some issues unfortunately and the lack of game streaming apps is felt.

Insurance or additional Protection is always a good thing to have, makes for Carefree Viewing of Sports, Movies & Drama

Unless you dont invest in added protection on your purchases

I haven’t had to use it yet but it does bring some comfort knowing my purchase is protected if something happens to it.

the squad were able to replace my tv without issue. the squad removed the old tv, hooked up the new tv, and connected all of the other devices. very satisfied.

I've had to use the service in the past for other products. Having the service makes replacement much easier when problems arise.

While I wouldn't buy this for myself, it was worth it for peace of mind for my elderly in-laws

I expect the protection that I have on my TV will also be as excellent as the service I received on the installation.

The Geek Squad mounted my equipment and were very professional. Installed my TV and Sound Bar very quickly.

Sometimes you just can't trust the product quality today and I couldn't for the TV I purchased but it is rated as one of the best TVs at its price point with some caveats should you be one of the unlucky ones who gets a lemon. Best Buy extended warranties are however more expensive than the competition.

Who,are you going to call after the manufacturer warranty ends? Best Buy Geek Squad, that’s who. They are the best and will be there when/if needed.

I have bought Geek protect for so many years, and had to use it on few occasions and was simple and painless. From TVs to gaming headsets and laptops too. You just never know if you'll need it.

Having burn in protection allows me to use my TV in HDR mode without worrying or babying the brightest. For the price, 5 years of peace of mind is worth it.

Renewed prodection plan for a return of an older lg television that went bad for a new samsung 4k television. Got the 5 year protection plan for about $90. Will keep my television protected for the next 5 years and am happy about it. Great price for a $450 television. Would recommend highly to anyone.
