I haven’t had to use this yet but I’m hoping it’s as great as the TV is. I’ve had this kind of protection for a laptop and it was very good.

Purchased this for 65" LCD TV. While I normally don't purchase extended warranties, the peace of mind this provides knowing that I will have an operating TV guaranteed for 5 years is worth the small cost. I have had several large screens fail, so knowing my cost of ownership over the next five years, as compared to possibly having to purchase a new one after the one or two year warranty passes is a plus.

Peace of mind for an expensive purchase. I've seen to many videos of dogs, cats, & children breaking TV's.

For electronics and appliances, I always get as much protection as is offered. It pays off!

I purchased an Insignia TV and less than 2 months the TV broke. I took it back, no questions asked just gave me the credit for the purchase. Now I did not get credit for the 5 year warranty but it was ok since there were no questions asked and credit given for a new tv. Best Buy has the best Geek Squad warranties you could ask for

The first tv i got was cracked in the box so i returned it and was able to get a new one. Thanks!

I really hate the geek squad when it comes to cell phones, but, my TV experience with geek squad was exceptional. They were quick, and had some options I wanted at a super low price. They were also ready to take care of my situation, before I was, that is quick service

I'm not a big fan of warranties on small electronics. But for a $400 TV . . . I bought the 2-year warranty for a little over $20. I figured that if something is going to go wrong with the set, it should happen within two years. Otherwise, it should be OK. Then it would be time for a new TV, anyway. My only interaction with the Geek Squad was on a carry-into-the-store computer problem. They diagnosed the problem and recommended a self-fix (which worked), and charged me nothing! I was impressed.

4 yrs ago I purchased a High End Sony TV, and purchased the 5-Year Protection Plan. It paid off, when that TV stopped working. Geek Squad came out, advised the TV had to be replaced. Went to Best Buy, got the Protection Plan value, and ended up getting a 75” and a 55” for the bedroom. And a gift card voucher with the remainder of the $$. Didn’t hesitate to add the Protection Plan to both TVs.

Quality and price is amazing, will always do business with Best Buy, looking forward for a desk top computer system for December time frame.

Hopefully I never need the service, but it’s a good idea to purchase this warranty. Without a warranty; it would be cheaper to purchase another TV, rather than pay repair costs. And I was impressed when reading threw the details, that for TVs over 40 inches, they do in home service at no charge. Sounds great- and worth the purchase for the peace of mind. Thanks Best Buy.
