    Made the mistake of buying a TV and did not put the extended warranty insurance on it sure enough after two years later TV went out and and had to buy new one and this time I got the extended warranty on it just incase

    I love my Geek Squad service! If I have a question, they are always so polite and knowledgeable. To know my TV is protected gives me peace of mind. I recommend the Geek Squad plan for any device that needs a little extra protection.

    I had to use the plan on a defective TV. I brought the old TV in and left with a brand new one. The whole thing to half hour, probably because I couldn't decide which tv to get.

    My brand new LG TV (December) went out and Best Buy passed me along to LG because it was still under warranty. Best Buy would have had this already fixed, but now my TV is out, has been for over a week and the terrible repair people that LG passed me off on are saying that MAYBE sometime next week it will be fixed. TERRIBLE! Why did I pay Best Buy extra to protect it if they are not doing anything about my dead TV? I sure hope that 2 year protection plans restarts itself once my TV is actually operational again.

    I usually dont get the protection for anything, but since I saved so much money on the open box item I decided to get the protection so for whatever reason my gf TV will be repaired or replaced with little to no hassle. and since its added to your account dont really need to keep receipts since they can look you up in the system.

    Originally bought the 2-year for my LG CX OLED, but came to the conclusion that the 5-year is a waaaay better deal and value! Especially if you buy an OLED, you’ll have some peace of mind if it ever gets burn-in.

    I've had the Geek Squad protection ever since I bought my last PC and keep renewing it when due. I don't use it very often but it has really paid off to have it when I did need it. They always have the answer!
