I am so glad I bought the Geek Squad Protection plan. My LG side by side refrigerator went out after 30 months and they completely replaced the product.

I never buy warranties but a few years back I got a Samsung side by side refrigerator and it fried 2 months after the factory warranty expired. The Geek Squad warranty saved me $1,100. Now I get the warranty for anything over $500

Purchased geek squad protection for a TV I bought. Unfortunately the TV had to be repaired more than once. When I contacted geek squad for repair it was always 2 weeks before they could send anyone out to look at it or repair it. Ultimately the TV had to be replaced and I went 3 weeks without a TV after the geek squad never showed up to assess the problem. They then told me to shop online for another TV as they would issue a credit for my old one with free shipping. I waited for a week for the credit to come through but did not receive it so I had to call them again. It took 3 more days before I received it. So now I’ve been without a TV for a month. Found the TV I wanted and called geek squad about removing the delivery charge since they told me it would be free shipping. After 2 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved they told me they couldn’t help me and I would need to call the store. I called the store and explained the situation about the delivery charge and they transferred me back to geek squad. I spent another 2 hours on the phone again with a person named Vee who was rude and very non customer oriented. Even though she had the order in front of her all she could keep saying was she would not provide free delivery and I would need to go to store to pick up. After she repeated this over and over I asked for her manager or corporate number so I could talk to someone else. She just kept saying you need to go to store and no free delivery. Don’t waste your money on this gimmick!!!

I always buy the warranty, because it doesn't cost us a dime if the unit fails. Our Best Buy store, always is willing to send someone out asap to get something fixed or replaced the first time around. We've been with Best Buy since they opened their first store in WI. That's over 30 years so far.

Hopefully i never need but if i do i know they have me covered

So far so good. Have not had any issues with our new appliance, but feel great knowing that we have the Geek Squad ready to come out an help as needed.

They are helpful. When I call for service they set a date and are on time when they come to the house. They fix everything I have called them on.

I had issues with my refrigerator purchase and felt how this warranty can be of service. Good product and much better than manufacturer's warranty.

I bought this for my Insignia refrigerator. I'm thankful it is there, though I've not needed it for this item.

If something goes wrong, they take care of it. This is a great service and I'm really happy with it.

Geek Squad has never steered me wrong, they are so worth it especially if you are doing things thru out the house like hanging TVs, Computer troubleshooting and even things for your car. Worth looking into for their great services

I have a 5 year protection plan on my refrigerator. It started making noise about a month ago - I called Geek Squad and they told me they were not setting up any repairs even outside of Best Buy. Then a week ago I awoke to a warm refrigerator - I called again got the same answer except this time I was told to call Samsung and ask them - I did and they sent me to a repair company that quickly fixed my refrigerator for about $500 out of my pocket!!!! I was told to send it to reimbursement@bestbuy.com and shortly there after was sent a rude email saying they would review my request in 2 weeks (felt like whenever they would get around to it). This is not the way to take care of a client - I cannot believe you are treating us this way. I will tell everyone I know in social media, Google maps, Yelp and other rating companies not to buy from you any product or warranty and I am going to write the better business bureau, CFPB and any other advocacy group to get the word out how bad of an experience this was. I completely understand keeping your employees and us safe but when it is an emergency and food is hard to come by it is mandatory to have a working refrigerator. You should have at least forwarded it to someone else and covered the costs then. I expect to hear back from someone by Friday May 1, 2020 to address my concerns or I will make good on my actions.

Always protected by geek squad. Service is always excellent and getting an appointment is never an issue.

I always recommend the Geek Squad Protection Plan especially for your appliances. It gives a peace of mind to know that if anything happens, they are just a phone call away to help you answer your questions and/or get the item fixed.

This protection includes coverage for lost food, which our home warranty did not cover.

We love it and the kids love the color and the way the doors open up and the white inside and the lights

Warranty is good to have on all appliances just in case your appliances malfunction.
