Good service. If I could get geek squad service for items I purchased elsewhere I would.

Buy it for all items purchased from Best buy. Wonderful after sale service.

We purchased to extended warranty plan on the freezer because the last freezer went out and over $200. of food had to be thrown out and it was covered.

We signed up for the warranty and hope to never use it. We shopped around and Best Buy had the best service package for the best price. They actually use their own "Geek Squad" versus many others that contract out. Fingers crossed.

We have been without a correctly functioning fridge for 4 months now. No one in customer service seems to care that there is no solution in sight. One service tech has already 'repaired' the issue and a week later the same problem was back. NUMEROUS service techs have no-called/no-showed or cancelled last minute appointments with us. Today, customer service informed me they would love to reschedule the tech visit (from today, 8/5 that was a no-show), but they can't because there are no available appointment options. It is ridiculous to expect your customer to go 4+ months without a functioning fridge with NO END in sight. Do better, geek squad.

Bought it but have not had to use it yet. So, I am happy about that.

I bought this with my Samsung refrigerator and it came in handy when the refrigerator stopped cooling they gave me full credit and replaced it by letting me pick another one.

I have used the Geek Squad service many times for various things. I have always been satisfied with the professional service, knowledge and resolution of what I'm there for. I will always take advantage of the Geek Squad service.

We had some trouble with my dryer, and had no idea what it was. Turns out it was a piece of clothing stuck, but luckily we had bought the protection plan to help in case we ever needed it. Saves on calling others to service appliance.

This warranty is well worth the price because it is much easier to use than the manufacturer's warranty.

As we all appliances these days it seems "efficiency" trumps "longevity". So having a little extra peace of mind for larger purchases is worth it. The benefits provided in Best Buy's protection plan are best in class.
