    It’s like an extended manufacturer warranty. Geek squad doesn’t cover accidental damage they only cover the same defects the manufacturer does. Only reason I got it is because some defects don’t affect anything until after the manufacturer warranty is up coincidentally.

    We are thankful a 5 year warranty is available. Our whirlpool compressor died after 6 years. With a 10 year warranty, plus this service warranty, we should be set for life.

    Once I though I don't need geek squad but I was wrong ... I times where chineeesssseeeesssesssss product overflow US market we just need an extra warranty for that !

    Had to use the warranty to replace an ice maker. They made the spot within a week & replaced the ice maker the same day no charge to me
