Haven’t really had the need to used this product since the fridge has perform well and has had no issues..

Always get the geek squad protection plan, they’re very useful and when you need something fix they get it done without giving you the runaround!

You should always have a extended warranty plan for all appliances.

Geek Squad replaced power supply board which did not fix original problem. Technician opted to replace tv under my warranty.

Good guarantee for the refrigerator and different items.

My Refrigerator started to die after 11 months. I tried to claim the warranty and they said I had to go through Samsung directly. Samsung saw there was only 3 weeks left in the factory warranty and drug the process out 3 weeks, then said the warranty expires an passed the buck to Best Buy warranty. Best Buy then took 4 days to schedule an inspection, another 5 days to schedule a third party repair tech, and then another 10 days to order parts and get the repair done. Meanwhile, my refrigerator is no longer chilling food and I'm stuck without a major aplliance. My recommendation would be to avoid warranties on major appliances. It woild have been cheaper and faster just to buy a new one fue to lost food, eating out, time spent dealing with bureaucracy of insurance.

I am a major fan of protection for durable goods. Having purchased a refrigerator at a great value, I do not want to have to fix something, prematurely, out of pocket. Buying an extended warranty is always a smart idea.

Wouldn’t buy any appliance or tv without the extended warranty. My previous refrigerator was not working correctly and the warranty replaced it.

I was researching for a new freezer and stumbled across this on sale--at almost $150off regular price. Then, a few days after it was delivered it was reduced by another $20 so I marched back to Best Buy and received the additional reduction.

The geek squad program is good if you are planning to have multiple appliances and services during the year. They are great and It will save you money.
