Given how easy things are breaking these days, it's advised to purchase the warranty for peace of mind.

Personally I haven't used the protection plan on my new fridge and I hope I don't anytime soon. But you can never go wrong with buying protection on your new appliances.

Bought an expensive Samsung fridge. When it was delivered the ice maker door had a small ding in it if you looked at it just right. Warranty covered the replacement.

Whenever I make a purchase & I can get a geek squad plan, I do. I purchased a 5 year with my refridgerator & now I won't have to worry if it needs to be repaired.

I be always get the extended warranty on all of my major appliances. It’s always good to have for the just in case.

I have not had to use on this product yet, but I was replacing a fridge under extended warranty. It does pay off sometimes

Expensive insurance policy. I buy for piece of mind. Especially for the refrigerators. It’s a pain to replace them and expensive.

I haven't had to use my geek squad protection so far, but for the price it's a great deal for five years warranty on a new refrigerator. Better than almost all the competitors.

Anytime I need assistance with laptop/printer, etc. the Squad is there to help. Every time I needed assistance, they were able to help me through the problem.

Always good to buy the protection because you never know what might happen to your item and then they can help you fast

Glad I purchased the Protection Plan because my Samsung ice maker Failed all ready. But the repair guy put in a new ice Maker.

I have had to use the Geek Squad protection a few times and have had great service, especially when compared to other stores plans. If it is a big purchase I always get it.

I was willing to give Best Buy another change but..... Same thing. We bought a Samsung fridge a few years back and starting having issues with the ice maker, it took 3 months to get it replaced. We Got an LG to replace the Samsung. August 21, when returning from a trip I noticed that the items in the fridge part was not cold and most of the freeze contents had thawed. I called Geek Squad, I was told it would be 24 hours before I got a call. No call back Saturday or Sunday. I finally called again the person I spoke with told me that it is 24 to 48 hours business days. I asked to speak to supervisor, I was told that they would tell me the same thing. I still requested to speak to supervisor. When she (Karen) came on the phone she said that it was still under manufacturer warranty and would need to contact LG, she finally got me through to LG and I was told that it would be 8 days before they could schedule appointment. My husband is 100% disabled vet and I am diabetic. I asked about a loaner or something to get us through, Geek squad told me that I would need to call the store that I bought it from to see if they had anything. I called the Forum store, after explaining the circumstances to the lady that answered the phone I asked to speak to Jesse, the manager that sold us the LG fridge, I was on hold for about 5 minutes and then with out speaking to anyone was forward to the Geek Squad. After almost 2 hours on the phone, mostly on hold. It will be almost 2 weeks of being with out fridge / freezer before anyone will be able to even come and look at it and hopefully fix it. Very disappointed with the geek squad appliance repair.

The installers did a great job and were knowledgeable of the TV they set up. Didn’t leave any trash behind.
