Bought it but didn’t have to use it but I bet it would come in handy if I did

While it replaced the LG we had and liked (and cost us $ out of pocket to do so), it was replaced by a smaller Whirlpool because similar-sized units with similar features were not available. For almost 30 days, we had to store all of our food in coolers and replace ice daily. Delivery of the replacement unit by a Geek Squad delivery contractor damaged both the unit and our home, specifically our rather expensive LVP flooring and trim work. We lost more than $400 in food and were reimbursed just $200. We're waiting for a replacement refrigerator (although we'd prefer the damaged doors being replaced) which will cause additional hassles such as storing food in coolers a few days and possibly more damage to our home. Hopefully we won't have to go through such a debacle again. Was the original optional warranty worth it? Hard to say.

Its great to have the protection for big price items.

Never bring anything to them, youll get it bsck woth the wrong things changed or fixrd, itll be in worse condition than you gave it in as, and geberally speaking theg are rude
