I don't normally buy but the refrigerator was for my daughter so I got it for piece of mind.

Good price for a higher cost item like fridge or oven.

The delivery men delivered my oven and there were scratches on my order.

The fridge is kinda small and didmt really work it stopped working after a year

Purchased as an extra protection. Haven't had to use it and hopefully I never will. Geek Squad overall quality of service is rapidly going down. Not sure if I would recommend this to a "friend".

I'm actually surprised there are not more reviews mentioning that the left door slams shut, shaking the entire fridge. I had someone come out and called LG. The left door is heavier than the right door b/c of the ice maker, but only the right door has a door stopper installed, allowing it to close softly. The left door, if left to close on its own, slams shut. It's quite loud and jarring. I'm contemplating returning it because it's pretty annoying to spend this much money on something that is designed so poorly.

I paid $250 for this 5 year plan, my refrigerator has failed twice, Best Buy wouldn’t come out for a week (which resulted in it growing mold), couldn’t resolve the issue, and is refusing to even process my food spoilage claim. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and have literally laughed at me telling me to continue to email my claim form, which I’ve been doing for 6 weeks. I’ve spoken to 10+ agents now who won’t help in any way. Complete waste of money and I’m out $500+ worth of food as a single mother of 3 kids and an appliance that continues to fail with zero support from Best Buy.

Purchased this for a smart refrigerator. This is useless since it doesn’t cover any of the parts.

Worst protection. Purchased multiple appliances on line and purchased protection for each one. The chest freezer arrived with a big dent in it. I told them i wasn't accepting it and they said they would order a new one. They delivered the new one a couple weeks later. My chest freezer quit working after 2 years. Called to make a service appointment. Was told that my protection was canceled because i returned the chest freezer! I didn't return it i exchanged it. What Best Buy did was charge me for delivery of the exchanged freezer the same amount of what the protection was. So they are the ones that canceled the protection and used that money for a delivery charge. Biggest scam ever!

Always on the fence about getting extended warranties feel like if a company sells you a inferior product you shouldn’t buy their product. I just hope I never have to file a claim.

Terrible. Purchased a GE Fridge, extended warranty and delivery at the Lynwood outlet store; that was easy. Thats the good. The BAD is that the delivery was cosmetically damaged and there was internal damage to the freezer that we could not see in the store. The Store is NOT contactable via phone and BestBuy Geek squad is not honoring my extended warranty because it is an open box item (like everything at this store..geez). My only remedy is to go back to the store after wasting 2 hours with Geek Squad on the phone. Will update as this transpires.

The refrigerator died after 6 months. I bought the 5-year protection plan, and Best Buy refuses to honor it. This company has gone from my favorite store in the 1990s to an absolute fraudulent scam today.
