Why in the world would you not buy the geek squad protection plan? For an appliance package or HD TV you're spending over a thousand dollars. For up to $249.00 (depending on how much you spend), this is cheap insurance. $50.00 a year, for a 5 year coverage. I bet you spend $50.00 dollars a week at your local coffee shop. In my opinion, buy the extended warranty, so your expensive item is covered.

I just recently used my Geek Squad warranty to replace a Whirlpool Refrigerator that had been giving us nothing but problems from the very start. After several attempts at trying to fix it, the Geek Squad stepped in and replaced my refrigerator with a new one and a different brand, by my choice. Excellent warranty.

Good peace of mind, knowing that the fridge will be fixed for the term of the plan.

I have purchased several Geek Squad protection plans during my relationship with Best Buy. I have NEVER walked away from my using one of them without feeling I was treated fairly. If you are on the line trying to decide if you should go with them for extra protection, jump across to the Geek Squad side and be prepared to be taken care of! Don't let me down Geek Squad! I bought geek squad protection reluctantly and realized it is worth every penny. Thanks for the recommendation of the sales person. The Samsung refrigerator got issues after a year with ice buildup, and voila geek squad team stepped in to fix the problem, they also did pay for the spoilage. All this during peak of COVID-19.

Every appliance I buy I get the extended warranty and it has paid for it self and more. Nothing is made as good as it used to be. I’ve had my appliances worked on by geek squad many times over the years and they do a great job and have had appliances replaced before.

Cant really say much about this besides, Im glad that I have extra coverage to give me a piece of mind if something does go wrong.

Purchased this fridge at the outlet and had an issue with lighting on the fridge and I called the Geek Squad. They helped me get in to touch with manufacturer and resolved our issue.

I've had Geek Squad protection on other Tech that I've bought in the past and their customer service is 5 star. I knew it be a good idea to get it with my new fridge.

This refrigerator has tons of functions and all them work as described in the manual. I did not find any problem in connecting with wifi, Pandora, TV, AP, calendar. I do not have Samsung phone so I cannot comment. Cooling, lighting, space, freezer all found to be perfect so far. No leaks, very quiet, and obviously looks great. Only thing I miss from old GE refrigerator is the cup measuring system, which is not provided in it.

I haven't used mine yet, but I read through the types of options that are fixable through geek squad. Seems to cover a good amount that isn't user error.

I have Geek Squad for my electronics and keep renewing it yearly. This option was specific to the fridge and I felt the price was worth it. Will cover almost everything. Still have the warranty obviously, but know that after that, the Geek Squad will be able to help if, heaven forbid it fails.

not happy with the need for a new warranty. I purchased a 5 yr warranty for my original purchase that I could not use for my replacement.

If you are buying an appliance you have to have the extra warranty. The system is built to require it. Don't go alone on a refrigerator... I guarantee you will need it before the 5 years is out. My last unit needed 5 repairs then finally replacement. It saved me over $3,000!

IF YOU LIVE IN ULSTER COUNTY BE WARE DO NOT BUY A YEARLY CONTRACT THE DO NOT SERVICE THE ARE BECAUSE THE STORE IN KINGSTON WAS CLOSED AND THE COMPANY REFUES TO PUT A LOCATION IN THE ULSTER COUNTY AREA 2 ITEMS I BOUGHT CAME DAMAGE . waited 5 app. for camera's instalation.

Having this warranty is a must these days! Things just aren't made like they used to be. This is a great warranty and it is well worth the money. We buy one with every purchase!
