Best Buy has always stood behind their extended warranty. I've had to use this service before, and I was very happy that I had bought this from Best Buy.

Geek Squad is excellent , they came and fixed my refrigerator with no issue

Never hurts to get the warranty since Best Buy's customer service is off the charts when it comes to repairing or replacing their products.

Most things I would not get this on, but got it just in case for fridge. Hope I do not need to use it.
