No one knows what they are talking about
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Finally went and tried to use my 3 yr Best Buy geek squad and was told in the chat today that it was covered for parts and service. When I purchased it in April of 2022 I was told that the 3yrs followed the manufacturer warranty of 1 yr. So I thought that it was good. He gave me a number to call to schedule it and I did and they said it was not covered at all. He also would not honor what I was told. I have spent well over 10k in appliances for 2 houses over the past 5 yrs absolutely disappointing that they will not honor it

Very frustrated with lack of follow through

We called and a serviceman came out in 4 days and looked at it. He said they would get back to us. After a week, we called the service company. They said parts had been ordered. After more than a week, I contacted our Best Buy store. We received a phone call saying they would get back to us to tell us what is happening "tomorrow". It's been over another 4 days, so I contacted them again. They say they will be back to me tomorrow. . .

Whatever happened to Reliable Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My fridge has been out since 8/19/24. The 3rd visit for another replacement part is on 9/4. ALMOST ONE MONTH! Prior to this 3rd visit, we had our fridge serviced for the same issue. So technically, it's visit #4. BB is quick to offer warranty, but the repair process takes too long. An escalation notice has been submitted in my case and was I told I'd hear from someone within 24/48 hrs. It hasn't happened. I guess it's not that urgent. Whatever happened to reliable customer service?

Delivery team can't connect the it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually love this refrigerator, I ordered the same refrigerator to replace my old one, the one star rating is for installation, The delivery team said they can't connect the frig to the old copper pipe so they took the refrigerator back. But 5 years ago when I bought my old refrigerator the delivery team had no problem to connect.

The delivery crew told me that they will uninstall the old refrigerator but they will not installing it back after relocation. I disagree and was talking to Best Buy agent (Karim) on the phone but they left with the new item without telling me. I spoke to another two Best buy agents (Tressa and her sup. Kathrine) but they just offer me to rescheduling it for different day. I was wasting the whole afternoon for preparing this delivery but got nothing. VERY BAD EXPERENCE!!!!!!!

DON'T BUY!!!!!

Not only does the freezer over freeze and subsequently not make ice, the customer service for Bosh is HORRIBLE. You have to wait 40 minutes every time you call. The first available scheduling for an appointment to fix the issue is a month out. The repair person left without fixing the problem and told us to let the refrigerator defrost for two days. What are we supposed to do in the mean time????? We asked for a replacement and were denied. Now they want to send the same repair person back in a month. When you pay $4000 for a refrigerator and it doesn't do what it is supposed to do and the company won't fix it in a reasonable or timely manner then you will be sorry you bought this product.

Not worth it!

It all started when 3 months ago my fridge stopped keeping my ice cool. Since then they’ve been to my home over 3 times trying to fix it, with no luck. With only a few more days of my extended warranty, they seem to be giving me the run around to avoid replacing what is clearly a lemon. My technician seems to really be trying but someone at a higher level keeps denying a replacement. What is the point of paying an extra $300. I got a lemon, and no one wants to replace it. Now I seem to be stuck with an overpriced refrigerator that doesn’t work properly.

Horrible Geek Squad service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad repair person admitted that he had failed to plug temperature regulator back in in the freezer compartment at first appointment. Then first available appointment to diagnose that problem was 9 days in the future. I asked to speak with a supervisor but none available. “He’ll call you back within 36 hours.” Never did. Same tech shows up again and fixes the problem he caused, but three days later, the refrigerator section still has not cooled enough for a safe temperature. Called Geek Squad again, and no appointments for five days.

Then the day of service came and no one showed up. I finally got through to support center and found out that the third party repair company, rejected the in home and somehow it never made it back to me or the online portal which still showed the appointment. Finally the third party comes and it was a complete waste of time. Highly I professional, no business card, wouldn’t leave a copy of the evaluation, in fact wouldn’t let me take a picture of it.

Made two appointments - no show both times
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a joke--- I had an appointment between the hours of 7am and 1pm. No show, no call, no email. Couldn't find the technician, or his supervisor. Neither one returned calls. Same exact thing happened with the second appointment--- same window, again no show, no call, no email, I had to call technician no where to be found along with supervisor from Danbury, CT Office. I think this is an example of horrible customer service . When you get a hold of someone in the office most are wonderful some are just ignorant.

No delivery

Then the day before the delivery was told I need to schedule my fridge delivery because the item is “still out of stock” but the website does not/did not say it was out of stock, if it did I wouldn’t have ordered. Go to reschedule-and am told I have to wait another month and a half for the delivery.

Awful Refrigerator
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the high price on this fridge and the fact that it’s a KitchenAid and supposed to be the best, it’s an awful fridge. This fridge has caused us nothing but trouble. The deli drawer control panel shorts out and causes issues all the time, and even after we have it replaced it’s does the same thing, just a poor design. The fridge lights are constantly going out as well. Big regrets on this purchase.

I tried to see if it could be replaced because I got the 5-year standard plan, and apparently, it's not covered because its physical damage. Shelves are not broken, so I dont recommend getting this, it doesnt work.

Freezer broke after less than 16 months!!!

Insignia is saying it's past the 1 yr warranty and bestbuy tells me it'll cost $124.99 for someone to just diagnosis the issue and more for part and labor. How does any of this make sense?! Not to mention everything in it were spoiled! Terrible! Would never buy again!

Best Buy cant get items to basements

A path had been cleared that was wide enough as per bestbuy instructions that stated the item could be transported up to 3 flights of stairs.

Loud and not worth the money!

The noise is unbearable and constant. If you want to watch tv or sleep, beware, you won’t be able to if you purchase this refrigerator. Constant condensation inside of the refrigerator and the ice maker is a piece of junk. Have this refrigerator only one week and nothing but problems. I already have buyers remorse and will be stuck with it, trust me you will be sorry if you purchase it.

They use third party for repair (not Geek Squad)

They use a third party (A&E- the struggling Sears) for repairs. I had to wait long time for the repair. So be careful when you are buying the protection agreement. I heard that Abt send their own repair tech to your house, so you might like to buy appliances from Abt. All of my appliance are from Best Buy but I am not sure if I'll be buying any more appliances from Best Buy
