They were good once they decided to deliver the fridge

For the cost for 5 years of worry free on the fridge it was worth it. Hopefully we won’t need to use it but if we have to we are covered.

Love the size and options. The temp dial is tricky though, it takes a few tries for it to land where you want it. All in all it's good so far!

Hoping my warranty pays off. Got it to be worry free. Hoping it is hasslefree too. Time will tell. Haven’t used it yet.

Some damage with the first freezer that was delivered. BB processed a new unit without any hassles. Delivery guys did a great job of getting the freezer into my basement and setting it up.

I have all my appliances covered. It is always a great experience getting a hold of the geek squad and submitting a claim.

Brand new dishwasher received with defective handle. We live in a rural town so no factory reps available and no local Best Buy (miles away). They made provisions for me to have the part ordered and installed by a local appliance repair store in our little town. Geek Squad had me pay the local person and they reimbursed me via a debit card for the full amount of the repair. Worked like a charm. Thanks.

A MUST! I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy!I highly recommend getting this for any electronic that gets used often or constantly. Washer/Drier/TV/Computer/Tablet... etc. Do not regret it!

Best Buy has great protection plans. Have used them in the past and they are very thorough and get things fixed quickly. For problems, the Geek Squad comes and fixes it quickly. For protection plans, Best Buy and Geek Squad is the best.

This may be the only way to get BB attention. I've recently purchased this fridge for my rental house at the store with my rewards number and the purchase shows up, as does the purchase of the 5 year plan, but it doesn't show under my Geek squad plans and services. I have to hunt for it. and the receipts are only on there for two years. What will I do then? It happened with a stove I bought a little over a year ago. We replaced our old dishwasher last year with a Maytag which we love, but the motor quit working. While that is rare, we're so glad we had our Geek Squad protection. We contacted them and within a few days it was fixed and running smoothly. We haven't had any issues since. The tech guys were efficient and friendly. We'd recommend this to anyone getting appliances to include their added coverage.

Purchased this for my dented/damaged fridge that I purchased on discount. Normally damaged items are sold as is, but they still allow warranty coverage!

With both this LG refrigerator and a Maytag washer that we purchased from Best Buy, we added the 3 year Geek Squad Protection plan. The selling point for me is the fact that if we have a problem that requires service once we are out of the 1 year factory warranty, we don't have to go thru the manufacturers, which can sometimes result in delays, etc. Instead, the Best Buy Geek Squad will take care of any problems we encounter. Well worth it, in my opinion.

Had plan on new refrigerator. Had four service calls over three years on ice maker. After last call Geek Squad tech recommended replacing fridge. He completed all details and told us how to exchange. Got same style fridge for same price(on sale). Even got prorated refund on old protection plan. New fridge, installation and new protection plan cost less than $150.

I have to say the Geek Squad warranties have been great! I have had to use them through the years on a couple of items and there are never any hassle or question when needed. The staff is always great to work with. I never buy any produce wihtout the purchase of the warranty offered.

If you have ever had a big purchase go wrong, you’ll know this is a good idea. Warranties/protection plans can seem like an added cost for something abstract - until your appliance breaks down randomly and you are left to cover a huge repair/replacement cost. Wise to spend a few extra bucks now rather than hundreds or thousands later.

I was told it’s an in house warranty, haven’t used it and hope I never have to. lol.
