    Very cool refrigerator. it even survived a fall down half a flight of stairs. it does not maintain enough ice in the bucket. Besides that issue we really like all the other gadgets.

    absolutely would recommend buying the Geek Squad extra protection warranty with any item that is purchased at Best Buy never know when you will need it things do happen.

    Over the years I've needed to take advantage of the Geek Squad warranty. Fully satisfied each time. I just purchased $2,000.00 worth of appliances from Best Buy INSTEAD of Lowe's or Home Depot specifically for their excellent warranty service.

    I have had major trouble with customer service and geek squad in a effort to get my refrigerator fixed. The water dispenser started dispensing and wouldn’t stop we weren’t home at the time. I called and scheduled a repair. The tech that came out did not seem properly trained to diagnose the problem he had to call LG so they could walk him through how the buttons on the display work. He ordered several parts and rescheduled another visit. The parts were sent to my home and when I opened the box I knew he didn’t have a clue. I got a ice maker and trim pieces to fix my dispenser. I’m not a tech but common sense says it’s not right. I called customer service and asked they re assign the tech or send a manager to properly diagnose the issue. Dani in customer service said it was all set and gave me a new appointment. She also instructed me to file a claim via email to Segwick for the property damage. Come to find out that email does not accept emails. I called back to file a claim over the phone only to get no response from segwick. Day of the appointment came and same tech was scheduled. I called customer service again only to get a very rude supervisor who said thers nothing she can do and refused to escalate or allow me to file complaint. The tech came out and spent almost 3 hours changing unnecessary parts only to say that it’s still broken. After that most of the food is spoiled. We called customer service again but spent hours with no resolution and only getting the response to have to try again for another repair in witch they ordered a door that does not include the dispenser that I feel is also a bad guess at best. I also was informed you take no responsibility for any physical damage to the home as a result. You would not even consider a courtesy credit for the inconvenience. I now need to take a 3rd and 4th day off to try and resolve this. You really should eliminate the call center as they only created cases and more problems with misinformation provided rather than correcting the issue. I’m not a tech but I am more qualified than who you are sending out. You have wasted my time and money. We are going to cancel any remaining contracts after the repair is complete any take our appliance purchases elsewhere. You make it so difficult and confusing nobody has any authority to do anything to help.

    I never buy anything from best buy without their protection plans, makes everything so easy to deal with in the event that you are past the manufacturer's warranty....and trust me, it happens on the devices you least expect it to happen lol
