Excellent Service Protection Agreement to cover appliances. Provides peace of mind.

I purchased a new dishwasher with a 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan. Two years later, our dishwasher started throwing an error code. A service technician arrived and ordered a couple of parts. Two weeks later was the earliest we could get the technician back to our home to replace the parts that came in a week. The technician replaced the first part, but it continued to throw an error code, so he replaced the second part, and it is still throwing an error code. He proceeds to order another part, and two more weeks later, he arrives, replaces the part that came in a week, and the dishwasher throws an error code. We are a month into troubleshooting, and the technician is ordering more parts to throw at it. I asked what the next step would be, and he informed me that he would replace a previously replaced part and then go from there. Now we are at the head-scratching phase, and I can't get someone to make the call to replace the defective dishwasher. Instead, they want to continue throwing parts at it delaying the inevitable at the cost of my time. The technician says he is not authorized to make the call to replace the device and can only continue changing parts. The Geek Squad representative I called confirmed this. Only a district manager can call for replacement, but we, as customers, are shielded from these managers. I am beginning to question the usefulness of this protection plan if it doesn't allow an avenue for replacing a defective device.

I’m really not sure why they have you rate a warranty no one ever reads a review about this

If you own a computer, and have issues ...... take it to the Geek Squad! I buy the 5 year service plan it’s so well worth the cost !

Purchased this on a new microwave oven. It has ran perfectly so the coverage has not been used....yet!?!

Always pleased with the help we need and get from the Geek Squad. Have used them several times.

We like the peace of mind that if it breaks down within the five year period that it will be fixed.

The agents connected the electrical and water supply line and explained the function of the computer.

I haven't needed to use this feature just yet, but will post another review once I do.

Bought this protection because of the cheaper price, and my past history with the geek squad.

My total tech support is ok however, waiting for support takes a long time to come on. I have waited 2-3 hours and sometimes I've gone to bed and started the next day. I have found that I'll be connected to someone who doesn't have all of the skills needed and then I have to wait 2-3 more hours for someone else to come on.

I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE GEEK SQUAD SERVICE. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT THEM.

Love Geek squad snd their customer service. Every time we have a problem they are they to help.
