I just bought the dryer in late June 2024. Hopefully I will never have to use the 5 yr Geek Squad warranty I bought for it, but NO WAY was I going to settle for just the one year GE warranty.

I love the warranty because I'm covered when my washer and dryer breaks down.

WITH ALL THE COMPUTERS IN THINGS TODAY THIS IS A MUST HAVE.

The only thing you can say about having extra protection and coverage shall a problem arise is, whew! One less thing to worry about. Proper planning because its necessary for me and my household.

Love the extra protection plan now I don’t have to worry as much if the system malfunctions

I've had mixed experiences with BB Geek Squad protections plans in the past. However, last May I bought a Maytag top loader washing machine for my mother and put a 5-yr protection plan. It was the best thing I could have done because 6 months later it simply stopped working. I called Geek Squad, they helped me set up an appointment and in a couple of days they came to fix it. I am very skeptical about spending my money on protections plans, but this time I am glad I decided to purchase the 5 yr protections plan. I may not feel confident on the Maytag washer I purchased, but I glad I can call GS to fix any future problems, at least for the next 4 years.

Glad we got this because when we picked up the washer and dryer we didn’t have our house yet so by the time we got our house and started setting them up the washer didn’t work. Had to return it to the store and come back within a week to get a new one. Had to pay some money for whatever reason it was for how long we had the washer. Might have been $25. But glad we got this because we would have had to buy another washer…

I like that this isnt too fancy, i just need a machine to wash clothes, plain and simple. It’s easy to use, very big and does its job. Sure, it is quite loud as some other reviews have pointed out, but with the laundry room door shut, i cannot hear it from 30 ft away while watching tv in the living room.

I love this washer and dryer. You get a notification on your phone when your load is finished washing or drying. The steam feature on the dryer is nice. Overall, I’m very pleased with this putchase. Would recommend and they’re pretty to look at, too.

Bought an insignia washer and had an issue with it after a few years. Best buy couldn't find a repair specialist so they decided to replace it with a brand new washer.

I recommend always getting the extended warranty on large appliances. Geek squad was excellent when I needed their help with a problem I was having. Very professional.

My mom always taught me to protect the things you buy, and Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection is one of the best warranties you can buy. Ive been a huge fan of Best Buy for years and have spent a ton of money, and any large item I always buy the extended warranty. Its not only offering you a peace of mind, but its also perfect IF something breaks. I havent had to use warranties from Best Buy often, but when I have, I have always been taken care of.

I'm new at this home ownership thing so of course I ordered a gas dryer when I really needed an electric dryer. They were so helpful correcting my mistake. They quickly installed the correct product and even got the revised bill correct. And best of all, no one pointed a finger at me laughing!! lol

This paid off well when my LG Washer died 13 months after purchase. The call in process was quick and easy and the in-home tech was on time and knowledgeable. The service was good and there was no difficulty in working out a fully covered (same or lesser priced) replacement.

100000% worth the purchase. They delivered and set up eveything quickly. They ran test cycles to ensure everything was installed and operating properly. Everyone was super polite and friendly.

Its only been a couple of months, but so far im loving both the washer and dryer. The large drum and front loading makes it soooo easy to wash large loads or thick blankets.
