The washer is great! Its huge. The best buy customer service was awful though. Shawn the manager at the South Portland store is super rude and condescending.

I am NOT one who often purchases service protection plans on most items, but my new LG washer/dryer combo is FAR more technology based than the pair they replaced (which lasted for more than a dozen years), so . . . I hope to never use the Geek Squad plan I purchased, but I can rest assured that IF anything does go wrong beyond the standard time, I'm pretty much totally covered. It's hard to put a price tag on that feeling, so I won't fuss at all about what I spent. Done deal, and I'm glad I did it.

We always get the Greek Squad warrantee of high dollar purchases. Quick and easy one stop shopping. I’m sure there are other options, but have always been pleased the BB when I needed to call.

Purchased the Geek Squad Service Plan. Have not needed to use it, doubt I will need to, but better to have a service agreement and not needed rather than need and not have.

I haven’t had to use my protection yet! I hope not to. Thank you

This refrigerator purchase is the result of a previous lemon. Geek Squad sent out repair people 3 times and then determined to replace it. The particular model was no longer available so sent me a voucher for purchase price to put towards this purchase. And you bet I bought the Geek Squad protection plan again on this one!

I have had such a bad experience so far with this warranty. 3 days to come look at it, not knowing after explaining on phone what it was or problem. Waiting 10 more days for multiple parts because they aren’t sure, just to cancel that appointment because they didn’t check to see parts had been delivered days before to my house. Now I have to wait 5 more days for next “available” appointment. So far it has been awful service. We will see if it gets fixed. So that will be 17 days out from when I made first phone call and maybe not even fixed then because they weren’t even sure what was wrong. I will update after next appointment but from now on I will buy my appliances from somewhere that actually cares about customer service. So far I get the run around to call this number or that number because nobody knows.

Geek Squad is great value for your money! Don't hesitate and get the protection.

I love the Geek Squad Protection Plan. I always hope that I never have to use it, but when I do I am totally satisfied with the service. Geek Squad Protection Plan is what made me decide to buy from Best Buy. The washer and dryer that I replaced was still covered under a warranty, but I got tired of calling, waiting, and hearing excuses. I have never had a problem with Geek Squad

I Like My 5 Year Protection Plan. I Think It’s A Great Idea To Have It. I’m Glad I Have It.

I am not sure what to think about this protection. I have purchased it twice and needed it twice, but there is no prorating. Once the dryer is replaced, you need a new Protection agreement. I was six months in on a new replacement dryer. I am electing not to purchase this protection again. I will just get the unit repaired under warranty or replace at Home Depot.

The warranty has come in handed it's always good to have that little bit of protection

5 year warranty on washer and dryer used once or twice on washer dryer before pays for itself if any problems do occur and in 5 years its likely

In the past I have skipped the additional Geek Squad protection with appliance purchases. However, the newer appliances have significant electronics / controls equipment... and that has a greater risk of failing. Sure enough it did with our new washing machine, but it was simple to scheduled the repair thru Best Buy and the service tech was great. It's the way to go!

I like the geek squad plan. They're very helpful if you need them.

This washer might save you money without having an agitator but it will take forever to wash your clothes! 79 minutes is a long time for a normal load

The agent mounted my dryer very professionally. They carefully carry the dryer minding the wall and protecting the floor.

Outstanding installation and support. When dryer stopped working, geek squad provided prompt support to swap out with replacement. Although had to initially go through manufacturer warranty process (poor service) once approved for warranty replacement geek squad and Best Buy came through quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended, especially when in home service and installation is required.
