It’s great having geek squad protection I recommend this for anybody and everybody you buy an appliance. You buy an electronic buy anything there and you can get the geese squad protection by it.

The geeks are there for when my washer and/or dry are in need of help.

12/7/21 purchased a washer and dryer at Pacific Sales which is a division of Best Buy. I was offered a service contract from Geek Squad which is also part of Best Buy which I purchased. In May 2023 I noticed a rattle during the spin cycle of the washer. While the machine was operating fine at that time, I contacted Best Buy to have service to avoid further damage and was advised the service contract was through AIG. Had I known the agreement was though AIG I would not have purchased as I have 40 years experience in the financial industry and am aware of AIG history. AIG sent someone out from Antech Appliance which has a 1.5 star rating on Yelp with the majority of the ratings based on their work for warranty companies and finding reasons not to cover claims. The service spent about 10 minutes looking at the machine and told me they would need to remove tub which would take 2 people so they would have to come back. A day or so later I received an email stating the claim was to be denied as "they stated they found the unit not working due to a foreign object(coin/pin rattling) between the tubs causing a noise issue and this is not considered normal wear and tear." Note that per the email they are making the assumption that the rattle is caused by a foreign object but they do not know what it is and cannot confirm it is in fact a foreign object. I filed a complaint with BBB but Best Buy stated they are standing behind AIG finding. I had requested a refund of the premium as the warranty was of no value and AIG denied the claim based on assumptions. Subsequently the machine has started to show Error Code when I run the clean cycle. Best Buy responded to the BBB that they had provided a pro rata refund and cancelled the contract. This was done at my request as my right and not in satisfaction of my claim. Best Buy used to stand behind their products but obviously no more. Do not buy from Best Buy but, if you do, do not purchase a service contract. Not worth anything. They employ sub standard repair companies.

The Geek squad was awesome! In and out in no time at all. I will forever buy this model! It is so reliable and looks good!

LG steam front load washer and dryer, I have these at both houses, uses very little Easter and cleans your cloths very good. The dryer has wrinkle free setting that leaves your clothes pretty close to wrinkle free. Also have the pedal stool with the built in washer for quick wash of one or two items while you’re running a full load

Bought this plan for my washer. Five months after buying the washer and this plan, my washer had a leak. It was a disconnected tubing and was fixed quickly for free (would cost over $200). Yeah it would be still under the manufacturer's warranty but from what I have read it could be a headache to get help from them.

The installers did a fine job of bringing in and setting up my new LG gas dryer. They followed COVID protocols, used shoe covers, carefully removed and restored the hydrolic hinge on my screen door, properly installed gas hose & exhaust, leveled the unit, and made sure the unit was working properly before the left.

Worth the money, offered a great price to protect my investment.

I have bad luck with washers. They always break down. Purchased a GE washer used once then the circuit board fried. Purchased a Maytag Cabrio it leaked after a year or two geek squad took care of it. It screwed up again and it wasn't repairable was refunded some money. Purchased a Samsung washer , then it was recalled due to it exploding Samsung issued a partial refund and I cancelled the warranty with a partial refund. Purchased another Samsung washer with Geek Squad protection...yup!

I think it’s good to have. When researching this dryer it seems like most people encounter issues in the first couple years.

This is a must buy for appliances as i do not think quality of GE/Samsung/LG are the same anymore. My last washer started having issues at 3 years and this is worth every penny for peace of mind protection

Have not had to use it yet. But the Peace of mind it gives me Is almost priceless

Haven't had to use it yet, but decided it was a good idea to have extended coverage for my new washing machine.

I always get extra protection when making big purchases. My last appliance I purchased I got the 3 year warranty and I never had to use it, Would definitely recommend.
