Great product! The service delivery was great on time, setup within 20 minutes and provided instructions about the refrigerator. Scheduling was easy!

Fridge is fine. Damage at the base of the fridge door by the installer. They also refused to hook up the water. Check the length of tubing and tubing type. They won't work with plastic tubing. They used their foot to puch fridge inplace and dented fridge. They offered a gift card. I had to go to the store to return water hookup They left and didn't use and manager said ask for a make good card for 20%. Nope they offered about 8% soni declined and now they have to send a brand new not damaged fridge. Third party to install and for customer support. Don't buy appliances from best buy.

Geek Squad to the rescue! So glad I bought the Geek Squad Protection Plan along with a refrigerator I purchased last year (2022). The fridge has failed twice since then and each time I called Geek Squad, their team handled getting a service repair company scheduled in a quick and efficient manner.

Contacted geek squad with an issue with a newly installed refrigerator with an error code, they told me what the code meant and told me to contact the manufacturer due to it being covered under the original warranty. After contacting the manufacturer, I ended up exchanging the refrigerator. The geek squad delivered and installed my new refrigerator. Very happy with the delivery and installation.

Seems to be an excellent value for the cost, and completely covers everything that I would expect and want.

I've only had to use a protection plan one time and it worked fine. I used to never buy these but with everything being computerized now and just not built to last like the good old days, I buy a protection plan except on items that is is too expensive

Our product broke the first year, Geek Squad told us to contact the manufacturer for repair. We got a full refund for product from Manufacturer. When we asked for our Geek Squad money back, they took money out for the first year of use. We said we didn’t use it. They said it didn’t matter and the GS warranty started the day of purchase. We argued that we used the manufacturer warranty. So you pay for 5 years but GS only warranty’s it 4 years and you use the manufacturer warranty the first year.

I recently moved in to a new home. I needed a new refrigerator and did a lot of research on line to find a high quality refrigerator at a good price. I selected one from Best Buy and had them set it up for me as we all know how stressful and difficult moving is! They Geek Squad did a great job of setting up my new refrigerator and showing me all of the features it has and how to use them.

When bringing broken or damaged merchandise back to the store the first question is " Did you get the service plan?" If you did not, you will receive an address and phone number to the manufacturer. If you have a service plan, the store will help you.

Got to use once after buying a tv that didn’t work

I've purchased the protection plans in the past and they have always proven to be well worth the cost. Once my TV failed 5 days before the protection plan expiration date -- and I received a brand-new larger TV as a replacement. Wouldn't go without it.

Very good plan. Will recommend it for every purchase

The Geek Squad protection plan is a must have for modern appliances since you don't know where the components are made. If one thing goes out, and they don't make the component anymore, you would be out of luck. 3 years is a good length of time for worry free use. We actually needed to use this on our German gas dryer and the protection plan was well worth the money with that one use.

Samsung makes a great product but anything can happen like line surge, early part failure etc... So we always buy the protection plan,

This may be the only way to get BB attention. I've recently purchased this fridge for my rental house at the store with my rewards number and the purchase shows up, as does the purchase of the 5 year plan, but it doesn't show under my Geek squad plans and services. I have to hunt for it. and the receipts are only on there for two years. What will I do then? It happened with a stove I bought a little over a year ago. Amazing fridge , very spacious and enough to keep grocery for a while . The shelves are long and strong to hold many items . Easy to remove and clean also . Also easy to wipe the front without staining it . Overall the fridge works well and I’m glad i purchased this .
