You can never go wrong. I always get the geek squad protection on almost every purchase I can. Easy exchange and or repair process.

This LG has a jumbo capacity and fit about 24 pounds of our laundry and was one of the few HE top-loaders to excel at cleaning. But like many HE top-loaders it wasn't so gentle on fabrics. Normal wash time is 75 minutes on heavy-soil setting; the TurboWash feature cuts time without affecting performance. Features include a steam option and SmartDiagnosis. It lets you transmit washer data by phone to technicians who will try to solve the problem without a housecall.

I have not had to use this for my washer yet, but bought for a peace of mind as i always do for appliances from Best Buy. It is a great investment.

Left a long review and it was never published. Im suspicious. This washer does not wash clothes well -- there is not enough water touching the clothes. A washer has one job -- make the laundry clean. I felt i was going to be able to get clothes smelling great and stains removed or made better with this expensive beast but the clothes are just coming out like they were handwashed in a bathtub. The washer gets them wet then just tumbles them around. There is no little pool of water to collect dirt - just wet clothes going round and round. It does not rinse well either. If you put a single item in it it gets stuck to the back wall and just turns around and around. There seems to be a deaign flaw with the smooth back wall -- other washers have a propeller shape/fins that prevents this -- clothes sticking to the back. If the item is too big the lack of water issue is worse. Ive washed a sleeping bag about 4 times and it still smells. The water dribbles from one short spout near the door and much of the water just runs down the door into the drain. The perimeter of the back that meets the drum has little spaces where things get stuck and cannot be removed. I'm utterly confused why this washer is rated so high and am feeling extremely foolish and sad for spending $900 on a washer that cant wash clothes as well as my 30 year old off brand top loader. Oh and there is no remote start -- what is the point of the wifi connection anyways? After realizing i need to triple wash many items i could really use a remote start at least. Just a terrible buy. Looks are deceiving with this one.

Agent on phone, ordered the wrong parts. Waited 3 weeks for the parts, but 1st Repairman couldn't fix my range because the parts were wrong He ordered more parts & i waited another 3 weeks, but they weren't the right parts so 2nd Repairman ( who was good) couldn't fix it, but he did order the correct parts. He expedited the 3 week wait, so i could get the range fixed in 1 week& the good Repairman fixed it. It took 7 weeks for Geek Squad to do their job.

Hopefully I never need this product, however for the length of the warranty and the price... that's what pushed me over the edge to purchase from Best Buy

I am so impressed with my front load washer and dryer by Samsung. It cleans well, it's so silent and the price was awesome!!!

When you buy an expensive washer, you would think a service plan isn't needed, but I guess that don't make them like they used. If you ever need service, it will cost more than the service plan. At less than 10% of the cost of our washer, we decided not to take chances - really, a big heavy appliance with moving parts, water, electricity and a circuit board, Murphy's law seems predestined but we're covered for a few years. Four stars because manufacturers should make washers last more than 5 years, otherwise the pricing seems ok.

Sometimes the clothes gets off balance and it will shut off and you have to take clothes out and rearrange it to make it work

I love when it let me know when the cicle is done.

Bought as protection hope not to use but if needed it's geek squad they are great

The agents installed my washer and dryer and made sure everything was working as it should be with the correct connections and hardware.

Due to Bidenomics, appliances are not as reliable, so the best advice is ALWAYS GET an extended warranty!

I haven’t had to use this for these items. I have used geek squad services in the past. They are always helpful and very responsive. I am sure I will not have a problem getting help if needed in the future for these items as well. I pretty much get geek squad protection on all big ticket items that I purchase at Best Buy.
