I made sure I purchased the geek squad insurance because I have 5 kids that help out with the laundry that never knows what happen when things goes wrong

Deffiently worth getting for big appliances. Service was great. They even called to apologize and make sure I was ok with what was goin on.

Sears had this washer and dryer for same price but warranty was double the price. So best buy came out to be a better choice plus best buy had washer and dryer on store.

It would be foolish not to purchase a 5 year warranty from the geek squad on all appliances

After having purchased an LG washer/dryer combo unit in November 2023 and taking delivery in January 2024, I called a few days ago when the unit was having a leak from the front door. I was told that I needed to contact LG because the unit was still under warranty with them. So I say what good is purchasing an extended warranty if Best Buy isn’t going to do anything when I call them other than say go to the manufacturer. I have been a Best Buy customer, purchasing all major appliances, entertainment equipment and computer, iPads, iPhones from them for the past 20+ years. I have almost always purchased protection plans on larger purchases. I have called for repair on appliances that were under warranty in the past and the Geek Squad was sent out to make repairs. That was what I expected now and did not receive. I am more than unhappy. I guess it’s the way the whole world is going, but it’s the final nail in the coffin of my purchasing Geek Sqaud Protection. Worthless! As was calling LG who wanted to merely diagnose my problem over a computer chat and have me do all of the work. That’s not a warranty!

Ok warranty well 3 years protection is a must on major purchase just peace of mind is worth it.

It never fails if you don’t get it the product will dye the day after the warranty is out. Best Buy always take care of everything well worth the money
