    One of the best insurance policies out there for your tech, worth the extra money for sure when untimely break downs happen. Wouldn’t buy a high end appliance or TV without it.

    I have always gotten the protection plans through geek squad when I purchase anything through Best Buy. It just makes sense to do so. The cost is reasonable and the service is good.

    a must when you are buying appliances. I bought one for my washer and dryer and a good thing I did. The washer broke less than a year of having it. They honored the warranty with no problems at all. MAKE SURE U BUY A WARRANTY.

    I highly recommend that you check to see if the local Geek Squad has people on staff to do repairs for the item you are purchasing. If not, your product will still be covered but you’ll have to wait for insurance company used for this service to find and negotiate service for your product before repairs are made. We’re on our fifth repair for a product and so far have waited a week and a half to schedule the repair. From my check earlier this week it will be at least next week before that might happen.

    I believe the extra warranty plan is the smart choice when it comes to appliances. The Geek Squad warranty price is not outrageous & affordable. I hope I never have to use it, but you never know!

    I purchase protection on large purchases all the time. So far I have not needed to use the Geek Squad services yet but I'm always glad to feel assured that if anything goes wrong, they are available to come take a look and fix it!

    I am generally very cautious about extended warranties. With the new high tech washers and dryers this just plain makes sense to protect your investment. We looked at S**** for the same items, but their warranty was much more expensive without any benefit in coverage. Saved a lot going with BB and their warranty

    Hot Stinking Mess!!

    I don't know if they're good washers and dryers, or if the accessories are any good. Why? On Black Friday, 11/25/2021, I ordered a Samsung Washer and Dryer. Both items showed as in-stock and available for delivery and install, which I scheduled when I placed the order. I've now scheduled the delivery/install FOUR times, three in December and one on January 20th. The first three deliveries were cancelled by Best Buy the morning of the delivery (just 1hr before delivery time). The reason? Items not in stock/inventory. On Jan 20th - almost 2 months since I placed the order - I finally got the dryer but no washer. They couldn't do the install because the dryer mounts to the washer. You need both, which is a concept their appliance department is incapable of understanding. So, after 2 months & 2 weeks, I have a dryer sitting in my living room and no way to do laundry. I live in a remote area, no laundromats, so this is really a nightmare. Over the past few weeks I have checked the website & same store. They have had the washer in stock, and available for delivery. When I asked the support person why they couldn't just send the delivery truck to the store, pick one up, and deliver it to me, she just got progressively ruder and told me I had to re-order the washer and re-schedule the delivery and install (delivery/install are separate). Trying to reason with her and explain that I had already done that multiple times only resulted in my being hung up on. I must have called their customer service/Geek Squad numbers at least 12 times. Each time I was told things would happen a certain way and not once did it actually happen. Their departments are spread out over multiple continents, they use third party contractors for delivery/install who don't give a drop about 'Best Buy problems'. Their computer system/software is another problem. Every time they scheduled a new delivery/install, it created new order number(s) like I had just bought them. The people who I typically get transferred to either don't have access to the info needed and/or they don't care because they're in a call center in India. Not just 'one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing', but the hands are apparently attached to completely different arms/bodies. Finally, about a week ago, I canceled the washer and requested a refund. Only reason why I didn't do so sooner is because, like I said, I'm in a remote area with limited options. Please don't repeat my mistake of thinking they will get it right the next time. THEY WON'T!!! Sure enough, I have a hot stinking pile of laundry that's been building up to deal with when I finally do get a washer, which WILL NOT be from Best Buy!!!

    Get the service, you will feel better knowing that if anything happens it will be covered. This new appliances have a lot of new technology that is hard to fix on your own now. not like old appliances.

    I have purchased other warranties through Best Buy and they were able to replace my products when I was faced with them not working. Due to this fact, I did not hesitate to purchase a warranty for my new appliances.
