Haven't used this service yet, but have had experience with the service Geek Squad offers.. Good service and good price

My cooktop was never installed correctly. When I called for service, the first appointment, the tech came and said he needed to research and reschedule. After I didn't heat anything, I called and found out that he canceled the appointment saying he didn't work on gas cooktops. The second appointment, the tech said he had the wrong tools and a part was defective on the cooktop. The 3rd appointment, the tech was a no call, no show. The 4th appointment, the tech said the installation was wrong and the part was defective. I was later called to reschedule because that company was no longer honoring the geek squad protection plan. The 5th appointment, the tech said the defective part was no longer available so they were replacing the cooktop. The 6th appointment, the tech came out and said he didn't know how to turn the gas off using the shut off valve at the gas tank. The 7th appointment was another no call, no show. The 8th appointment had me waiting all day then said he couldn't find the house. He never called to say this. I just got a call saying they had to reschedule because he couldn't find the house. Here it is, appointment #9 and it's 2 weeks away. This plan is not worth it. I want my money back and I'll never buy the geek squad protection plan...ever again. Best Buy delivery and protection plans are the biggest pain and the delivery and repair people are the worst I've ever seen. The girl that called to reschedule after the tech lied and said he came, argued with me, telling me he came because he took a picture of a road. I was home ALL day so she didn't know what she was talking about but still defended the liar. I asked for a manager and they kept me on hold for at least 30 minutes and said they'd call back...but never did. Save your money and never buy a geek squad protection plan. They don't honor it and you'll go through too much unnecessary trouble. You'd be better off just buying another one because at least you would get that one...if it isn't ordered from Best Buy.

Purchased this with a new Samsung gas range, hopefully I don't have to use this and the range lasts a long time.

You can’t go wrong with the geek squad installed appliances. Always on time, very professional and they do a great job

The operator did not give me the correct information the first time I called, it was difficult for them to understand what I needed and they kept getting confuse with my two appliances that have the same brand name.

My tenants are very happy so I m too ... i have not used the service so far and it is a good news

This has offered me piece of mind. Although I am grateful my products have worked perfectly and haven't found a need to use this yet, I always recommend buying this.

The first fridge they brought out is broken and luckily one of the delivery men recognized that the magnet that keeps the fridge shut and sealed was not only not sticking but also that there was a piece broken off. So I must wait another week with no working fridge. I know I can only give this much of a review on the first brand new one that I got. Hoping the next will be better or its going back too.

Standard warranty or new oven. I only purchased due to several reviews stating main boards failing on LG ranges

I haven't gone wrong yet by purchasing this and have been disappointed when I didn't. Can you say it any simpler than that? On anything more than $100 it's a must have.

Delivery was prompt and went without a hitch. Can always depend on the Geek Squad. Good repairmen are hard to find!!
