I was able to add this to my app store and use that balance on the Apple Store app to purchase a physical device, and I was able to use it in person at the Apple Store physically as well! Just make sure if you purchase the gift card in person in the store, that it wasn’t a tampered and scammed card.

Always says available after purchase but takes longer than that. Sometimes it gets cancelled even if I don’t use my best buy card.
