Love the clear picture, and the screen size. The colors are vibrant. The sound is crystal clear.

Although they tried to persuade me to get a more expensive TV, I was drawn to the price on this bad boy. To be honest I don't even watch TV all that much, so purchasing the "house brand" wasn't a concern for what I needed. There's nothing wrong with this TV! It works great - good picture and sound. I think I got a great deal for the amount that I'll use it. I hooked up my ChromeCast immediately, so even though it's not a smart TV I can still access everything I want.

Found a very nice television for an outstanding price. The color and sound quality are very very good.

This is my 2nd purchase of an Insignia TV. I still own the 43" screen I bought over 2 years ago, just decided to upgrade to a larger screen. This is a very simple and to the point product. I want great picture, great resolution, clarity and color balance. That's exactly what I have. Speakers are not the best, but it's a flat screen. I have the TV linked to my home theater system, and with the 50'' screen, good entertainment.

Simple TV, just works. Remote has actual channel number buttons, (doesn't require a smart phone app) plenty of inputs and setting adjustments, sound is decent. Tuning doesn't take as long as my other TVs, and screen blacks out instead of turning blue while changing. Lacks Zoom to make SD (480i) content fill the screen (black bars on sides,) but I've only seen that feature on higher end TVs. I.m happier with this then I am with my Haier 4K!

I have a 40" Insignia with the same specs and it looks great. I purchased the larger screen version so that when I watch hockey games, the puck is easier to follow. But on this 50" model the refresh rate was lagging and the picture was blurry during the action. That does not happen on my 40" model. Maybe it is because of the larger screen. I returned the 50" and went back to the 40.
