This is a great TV for the price. We've had our for a month and are very happy with the picture quality. Settings are a little limited compared to higher priced models, but haven't found that to be an issue. The only thing I wish it had is more ports for the red/white/yellow cables. Has plenty of HDMI ports.

My mom can’t handle too many technical options and this TV was perfect for her as it’s NOT a smart TV that’s beyond her understanding. It’s easy to set up. She turns it on and knows how to shift from TV to DVD in a breeze. Sometimes simplicity is best and this is perfect for mom.

Despite only being 1080p this is a great entry level TV. It has everything you need for a small room. The picture quality is bright and sharp and the sound surprisingly robust. It has yet to let me down. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a TV to get the job done without breaking the bank.

We needed a TV for our RV. Not a smart TV, just one with good picture quality and a good receiver. This TV fit that bill exactly, and has done it well. the picture clarity is great and the receiver is A+ as well. Great choice for anyone that needs a TV to watch and not one that does tricks.

The color is really good on our TV and it has a great picture. The sound quality is great also. We enjoyed our TV so much that we actually bought another! We bought a 50 inch screen. The price was very nice for the size and we are hoping for many years of enjoyment with our new TV's.

Five Stars For Sure. Don't Waste Money On Higher Priced Flat Screens If You Just Want To Watch Television. This Insignia Has Great Speakers And Picture With Vibrant Color. Assembly And Set Up In Less Than 15 Minutes.

This is the 3rd Insignia I have purchased and it didnt let me down. The picture is great and sound has great quality. It mounted right up to the wall and was ready to go! There is very minor adjustment out of box and always as a true looking picture! The 50 inch is perfect on my wall!

I was sceptical at first because it's has only a 60 Hz refresh rate as well as it being cheaply priced. However, this tv has great quality sound and an awesome picture! Easy to set up too!

I just can't say enough about the quality of the Best Buy brand products. Already have two TV's your brand, this is third, yet larger than the other two. Never had one minute of problem with any of them. Beautiful, sharp, clear picture, great sound. Would definitely choose it again.

I needed a large screen to view blueprints and drawings. It has been very nice having a screen this big to view. As far as it being good for TV and movies I couldn't answer that as I have not hooked it up to cable yet. But in the 2 months I've had it its been great as a computer monitor.

I bought this tv two years ago and it’s tv going strong. It was a great purchase for the money I spent. Good picture Quality and good size for my living room. I would most definitely buy another one or the 4K version. Very happy customer though

Purchased this tv for my shop to replace 32" I had on the wall. I can now read the game score or lap speed without having to walk over to the tv. Picture is great and coupled with Insignia soundbar it provides all I need to have the game on while catching up on the old to do list.

For the price it's a great basic 50 inch TV with good picture quality. Changing channels takes bit longer than anticipated, and there are no red/green/yellow/blue TV guide buttons on the remote, but other than that, it performs well for OTA (Antenna) tv and as an. HDMI computer monitor.

Went in best buy over the 4th of July weekend to inquire about security cameras and browsing in the TV area I came across this TV marked down in the open box area. TV was missing the remote so it was marked down a considerable amount so I definitely couldn't pass it up.($200) This is actually my 3rd insignia tv purchase within The last year and a half. Insignia is a excellent brand for the price. Shows in my opinion just as good if not better than lower comparable brands . Definitely comparable to Samsung and LG. . TV was placed in the master suite

This was purchased because of the success we have had with our smaller 32" Insignia TV. This TV has lived up to the same quality picture and reliability. Good quality sound from its own built in speakers and excellent picture and flesh tones

My old 42" went out that I had for 12 years and needed a replacement for the bedroom. Didn't need a TV with all the bells and whistles, just one with a good picture at a good price. This TV fit the bill and I was able to upgrade to a 50". I would highly recommend for a budget TV.

50 inch TV for $279 on sale. I mean... What more is there to tell? Besides the fact that the picture is right on par with the latest and greatest brands with a cheaper shell? I'll take it. If you need cheap, you need this.

I received an e-mail just before Christmas offering an excellent price on a 55" flat screen TV. The product received reasonable reviews. It's not a top-of-the-line TV so I didn't expect five star product reviews. I just wanted it to be reliable and easy to use. So far, so good.

I bought this TV on sale not expecting too much sound and picture wise. Its so huge and the picture quality and sound are great. Customer service is also good. You actually get an americanamerican human to help you lol. Its an unknown brand name but well worth the purchase.

This was for my 91 old mom, Didnt need smart or 4k or any other upgrades. She thinks its super and it does play very well. High def is very clear. The sound is not great but is good enough for her. Recommended! Have had other insignia products and all were fine.
