this is my second insignia tv, and i have never had problems with either. great deal for the price. clear pictures and solid sound. could use a couple extra HDMI ports, but for the price, this cannot be beat.

We were able to get my fiance's mom a wonderful TV for her room that is easy enough for her to use on her own and large enough to comfortably watch from her bed. She loves the picture and color quality.

I purchased this television for a replacement for a relative. It is a good, affordable basic 1080p television which fits the needs for my relative. If you want something basic with a decent picture I would highly recommend.

My recent purchase of a new tv was well overdue. I still had the 90's box rca model. My new 50' Insignia TV and Whalen stand are the perfect addition to my living room. Very happy with the look, sound, and available HDMI outlets.

Got this t.v. for my mom, and it works very nice. Sound is ok, we like to hook up sound bars for a fuller sound quality, however the televisions sound is acceptable by itself. The picture quality is quite nice for the price.

Works great, great picture. Great price. This is my first flat screen TV. I was excited to get this because I've always wanted a big screen TV. Love to watch my hockey games, and motorcycle races on it.

The tv has a great pic & remote is very easy to use. I have several insignia tv's in bedrooms & have never had a problem with any. Would make a great tv for a bedroom or shop/garage. Highly recommend for the $.

it really is a great tv for the price.the only thing i found i did not like was the tv stand seemed really week and had to use my cable box as a added support under tv to keep it from leaning. this is way i only gave four stars.

I would purchase another one just for a standard tv because that is all it is. No additional add ons, pretty much basic. Not good for high def or anything. But the size is substantial and the picture is decent.

Picture and sound are great. The only thing that could be better is the menu for over-the-air. My old Mitsubishi would show the entire tv schedule, and the Insignia does not.Aside from that it is a good picture.

I installed this 50" TV for my 99 year old mother Her vision isn't very good, but she can see so much better than before with her small tv. It's like her life has changed. She can't stop thanking me for it!

Love my new Insignia TV. It is great for the price. The colors are bright and easy to see in a bright room. Speakers are OK for regular watching, but hook up better speakers for the movie experience.

I picked up this TV to replace a 2 year old set that gave up the ghost. This set has a very good picture for an entry level TV. It provide enough controls to provide a pleasing picture. You can't go wrong.

This TV is a really great value for the price. It has a sharp picture and a really crisp quality. It's super thin and does look bulky when mounted on the wall. This was one of my best purchases!

I have to say that I would deff recommend this TV to any potential buyers in the market. I have not had a problem since I had it, and not to mention sound and quality is on point.

I paid $269 for the TV and it has a GREAT picture. For what you are paying, it is impossible to beat this deal. Great Warranty and multiple HDMI connections. Highly recommended and would buy again!

Great TV for the price! I purchased this TV for my elderly father who has trouble seeing various screens and smaller size TV. The picture is bright and crisp and the sound quality is wonderful.

I upgraded to the Insignia™ - 50" Class 1080p TV and it is awesome. The setup was easy, the picture is beautiful and the screen size was perfect for my entertainment room. Ready for football season!

Read several reviews before my purchase. The negative reviews I read were all user error. The tv has a great picture and sound is good for a bedroom or smaller room, otherwise just get a sound bar.

50" HDTV 1080p, actual remote(with glow in the dark buttons!) no crippled "Smart" stuff. All for $249 Good sound, no blue screen while changing channels - unlike most sVizio's, it actually has a tuner.
