    Geek Squad mounted my TV perfectly!

    The two gentlemen who came to mount my tv were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I felt like they were two friends helping me get my TV set up. They weren’t able to drop lines due to where my power outlet was placed, but they did their best to hide the power cords and honestly I can barely notice they are there. Will definitely be using them again!

    What seemed to be a simple request turned into a cluster of mistakes. The original job I asked for was to remove a 65" TV and mount and relocate it to another room in the house. I spoke with the Geek Squad service Rep when scheduling, explaining the two jobs I needed done. She told me how it would be done and how much billed. Two installers arrived at 7:45 AM (On schedule). Unpacked the new 77" TV, Best Buy full mobile wall mount and installed them where the 65" TV was. The lead installer was a Ukrainian with good English skills and his partner (with no English skills) obviously worked together for quite a while. They installed the mount and the TV exactly where I planned for it to be, connected the peripheral equipment and the in home router and it all come up very well. This team really knew their stuff and were finished within an hour or so. As for the Ukrainians when scheduling. No fuss, no surprises and no additional expense. High praise for the personable, experienced and competent team. I highly recommend although I don't recall the guy's names. The 65' old TV still sits on the floor of my family room uninstalled because the 2nd Best Buy team who came at 12:30 of "Jose" and his partner arrived said they were here to move a TV. I told Jose the TV has been moved by the competent team in the morning and is just waiting to be hung and plugged in. No cabling, no connections to the internet or sound system. Jose looked at me like I was a Martian and said, "We only move the TV...not install it. The team this morning should have installed it." I tried to explain what I had asked BB to do and Jose wouldn't budge and do the work. Jose and his coworker left without entering my home. Whomever scheduled this job did not communicate the scope of the work to their installers. The Jose team spent 2 minutes on my doorstep and left. I was billed $59.99 for these guys.

    Technician came on Christmas eve, very upbeat and knowledgeable. Thankful that someone actually liked their job and made sure it was nothing short of perfect and that we were satisfied. Will definitely use this service again.

    We recently downsized and had the Geek Squad remove a wall mount TV and then install 2 wall mount TV's in our new home. The Geek Squad was on time, did a great job, Hassle Free. When you just don't have the time to do it yourself, Get the Geek Squad to do the install for you. You won't regret it. I had time to work on the other projects. Great team

    Austin and Vincent (?) arrived exactly on time, came in to survey what needed to be done and got about their work. They had a few questions about what I would prefer, and they were both professional and pleasant. The install went just fine, they cleand up their work and they were gone. A good visit from BBY and the Geeks. Thanks.

    The “Squad” mounted tv and connected to my devices. They also gave me advice re parts necessary for another tv setup. They were knowledgeable and efficient and left no mess.

    The Geek squad members sent out for our service were great- very knowledgeable and efficient! They did a great job setting up and answering our questions. We bought the Best Buy Totaltech plan at the same time we bought our new television and it was certainly well worth the price.

    The Geek Squad Totaltech service was amazing. They were very professional in mounting the 70” TV to the wall. We had also purchased the wrong outlet and they had a spare on the truck for us to buy thereby saving us time. They were also friendly and careful with our belongings.

    Both techs did a great job installing my television and answering my questions. However, the appointment scheduling process has become terrible at BestBuy. Two examples here. The television haul away was separated from the television install and remote set up. This caused confusion, because nobodody pays for a haul away without getting a new tv. Second, my initial appointment was moved from Tuesday to whenever because they couldn’t find the television. No phone call for scheduling or mistake was given, all communication was a AI base text for “me” to reschedule. Lastly the 12 hour appointment window does not work for your customers. 4 hours from when appointment was set up, not 12. Because Best Buy doesn’t provide world class customer experience any longer, I will pursue other options for next time

    It took us a ling time to decide to mount a tv on the wall, but we're glad we had the gook squad do it. We bought the tv a couple of days before super bowl so weren't surprised to wait a few days, otherwise it was easy to schedule. The technicians came right on schedule. They were considerate, knowledgeable, and efficient. Although we'd been watching the tv (with the stand) for a few days, they made a point to ensure we knew how to use all the features and made some suggestions to enhance our viewing experience. They didn't make a mess at all. The only glitch we had eas an assumption on our part that putting the wires inside the wall was part of the process. I wish the sales rep had mentioned it was extra. We found out the night before when the technician called to confirm. He did come prepared to do it dor us, but we decided not to spend the extra money. He ziptied the wires together and it's not bad since we have a cabinet below it. We've taken advantage of our total tech support membership on several occasions and have been satisfied with the value.

    So happy that I chose this service! I bought an older home and I knew that attempting to place a large TV onto my walls would be a challenge! The Geek Squad handle this task with ease pride to my home and exact precision! They even confirmed my thoughts that my room was built with imperfections but the TV was definitely a great choice for my family room!

    This gentleman was very knowledgeable about the TV the menus and the way to set up the TV. And even after installing a TV mount that I did not like he turned around and installed the one I did would like have rather have. And you did not charge me for the other TV mounting system.

    The Geek squad from my local Princeton store came and did a great job putting up a 75” TV. This was not an easy task because how I wanted the room setup, They managed to exceed all my expectations and made the room into exactly what I wanted. The man cave is now complete. I would recommend for other in home installations.
