What I was told at the store they would do when I bought the package and what they actually did were WAY OFF. One of the installers said they always tell people wrong to make them buy the service.

The agent connected my mount. All is secure and works well for me.

The techs mounted the tv securely exactly where I wanted it. But they insisted on using a different mount than I wanted because they thought the mount I bought from the TV's manufacturer was not compatible (turned out later it was), and they put unnecessary standoffs between the tv and the mount they did use even though I wanted my TV as close to the wall as possible. Their skills in the actual mounting were fine, but their level of knowledge and willingness to try to use what the customer wants was lacking.

Overpriced for putting a TV into an already installed mount system but since I couldn't lift the TV I had to pay for both delivery and full installation. Gave me incorrect information about the lag time between changing channels and the slow start up.

I hired Geek Squad to deliver, install the wall bracket and go through all the programming with me. I had to help the technician carry the TV up to my apartment (7th floor) because he was alone. We didn't go through ANY programming since I was not told that I needed a $40 surge protector. I just spent hundreds on the TV and a few hundred more on the geek squad. A $40 surge protector is nothing. The surge protector was never mentioned by anyone. So I have a smart TV that I only watch cable on and have no idea how to access or use the apps. This is the second review I have given Best Buy regarding this issue and I never heard from them at all. I will never use this service again.

GEEK SERVICE PERSON VERY GOOD...However $250 price for mounting the TV though was a rip off.......The wall hardware and brackets were all there and ready from the previous TV....The TV fit in perfectly and the wall installation took just 10 minutes...No new equipment....$100 or less would have been a fair price. Not 25% of the cost of the television....

The geek squad provided excellent service in mounting and setting up my tv!

The agent was suppose to mount a 55" LG Oled TV to an existing bracket that already had 4 lag bolts screwed into a stud. He was also was supposed to install a 9.2.4 sound bar system. Geek squad only sent one installer. The installer needed my assistance to move the bracket 3" lower and needed one of my Grandsons help to lift and mount the "oled" tv onto the bracket. The sound bar system was not installed as the agent received a phone call stating he was behind schedule and had to leave. This occurred after opening the box and leaving parts strewn about from the sound system and unused parts from the EXPENSIVE FRAGILE OLED TV. A most terrible experience to say the least. Highly unprofessional !!

I picked the Premium package and the site recommended a kit. Purchased but unable to be done by the technician. So wires are not hidden. Team that came to my home great about explaining but I should have received some money back when they were unable to do the Premium work.

For the first time in my long term relationship as a customer of Best Buy, this, unfortunately, must be a negative review. First, I requested the television be mounted on the wall at the same height as previous. Not sure how this happened, but this did not occur. It is clearly higher. Second, my bedroom, where the television was hung has a wooden floor. The technician scratched the floor while installling. Not sure how this happened but can only assume he was just too lazy to lift the console that house all television necessities, ie cable box, wires etc. Very disappointing

James was a five-star representative. The scheduling groups was a one-star. The first scheduled date was cancelled with no notice, leaving me missing two hours of work until I phoned. The second scheduled date was alco cancelled.
