Unfortunate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very unsatisfied with customer service. Have been give incorrect information multiple times. Have spent hours on the phone trying to fix a scheduling mistakes and I have missed 4 days of work waiting for delivery, who either didn't show up or work order didn’t have what the agent on the phone said he had scheduled. Installing two TVs and one dryer is too much for them to handle and thats unfortunate, I’ll be going back to purchasing directly from Samsung, Sony.. Membership has been useless, Geek squad would tell me one thing and the delivery tech would tell me different. My tv was left on the floor after being told two TVs were scheduled for installation. I give up, my time is not valued and would never recommend geek squad to anyone

Unusual experience mounting a 75 inch tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super disappointing install team yesterday in my brand new custom built home mounting a 75 inch Samsung frame I put a lot of effort and money into. Geek squad had just mounted it last summer for me when I first bought it with flying colors. Yesterdays team seemed extremely not confident and it ended up to the point where somehow they got a bolt stuck in the wall and asked if they could leave it so they don’t have to tear up the wall as they are unable to remove it. They put some tape on it so the washer doesn’t rattle from any vibration…. Who knows what they got it stuck in. Now I’m nervous about that and whether the tv even stays on the wall

TV instal GONE WRONG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad completely missed the studs when hanging my two 65” TV’s. The weight of the TV’s and brackets caused a lot of damage to my brand new unit I had built. Called in to Best Buy for help and they said it has been longer than 6month and they can’t do anything but send a crew out to fix the issue, BUT I’m going to have to pay them to fix their problem. It hasn’t been 6 month either, it has been 5. Then the person on the phone asked “why didn’t I call in earlier to report the issue”. Because the damage hadn’t shown its face yet.

Third Party Professionalism
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was heavily disappointed. Geek squad contracted out a third party for the install of my 75” and 40”. While they tried to make it right, it was time consuming and not a clean installation at all. At the end they said the Mount I had purchased (from Best Buy) was to blame. If that was the case, as part of the consult prior to coming to house that should be reviewed. Versus stating it when they are having installation difficulties. I have purchased two other mounting services and this was the most disappointing. No professionalism and not what I expected. Note I recommend Geek Squad service but NOT the third party.

Geek Squad Installation: 3 failed attempts.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed! Geek Squad did not complete this installation. I waited 2 months for the first appointment Dec-Feb and They made 3 attempts to mount the TV but they were not successful. Holes were left in my wall…No real follow-up attempt made to rectify the situation. I ended up having to buy floor and mounted the TV myself. Leaving 2 stars instead of 1 because the service techs were polite and professional when they came each time, but they were unprepared and lacked the right equipment to complete the job.

Terrible service
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The company they sent to mount my TV only sent one man to do the work. The guy not only broke my new TV that I just bought but he broke my TV stand and my home theater system. Installation date was 11-1 and it's now 11-22 And I'm still waiting to hear back if these items are going to be replaced. I keep getting told that I will receive a phone call letting me know when someone will drop a check off to me but it's been weeks now and I've heard nothing. The amount of damage they caused totals over $500 and Best buy doesn't even care that I've had to go through this. I have more TV's in my home that I want to get mounted but I will find somebody else to do it. Be careful if you have them mount your TV.

Worst Install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first agents that came out to mount my new tv was the worst install ever. First they did bit mount to any studs just straight into the drywall. So when I went to move the tv it did not stay in place and swung and damaged my newly painted walls and the mount mount as slipping form. It being anchored. Also when it swung it pulled the hdmi cord and damaged the port so cord would not stay in. Finally after the third time someone came out they finally fixed it. The manager called me abs apologized and said he would put a claim in for the damaged wall or some gift cards for my Troy or. It has been over a month and I still have not received any gift cards worst experience ever and when my tech support is up for renewal will definitely NOT repurchase.

If I could give this zero stars, I would
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give this zero stars, I would. They were to move an existing wall mounted TV (2 years old) to another room and put the new TV in its place. I have a gouge in my drywall (that I found on my own while cleaning; they didn’t tell me) and the sound on the moved TV cuts out. Getting a big run around trying to get Best Buy to take ownership of this problem.

Sloppy and charged extra to fix their own mistake
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They didn't cut right the first time to accommodate the mount cover, so they charged me an extra $50 to sloppily cut more. They charged me to fix their mistake and then didn't even do a good job! They left a huge gap above the mount, a large gap to the left and bottom. Now I have to pay someone to fix the huge gaps. If they measured correctly, it would have fit perfectly. The cable was not mounted correctly to the mount then the wall. He just attached the cable to the back of the tv, so every time we move it, the cable gets caught on the mantel and I have to move the cable. They also charged another $50 extra (both of these charges were after they did them, they did not tell us in advance that they would charge us extra) to put the TV box in the cabinet. I would not recommend them. The upside is, my husband was so upset he went and mowed the lawn.

T Horrible Best Buy TV installers never ever hire
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The installation was horrible. The installer mounted my new TV on the wall crooked. . And blamed it on the Bracket being a swivel yet the TV is hanging sideways. They did a bad job. I will never her that’s why installers again. in addition, the installer had a That attitude , when he came out the second time to look at the TV he claimed he was going to his car to find a stud finder to correct the problem. He never came back. He just left had me sitting in the house thinking that he was coming back. He never returned.

The Geek squad Damaged my house
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My rating is not on the TV it is on the install performed by the Geek Squad. they destroyed my walls, damaged my ceiling and left my house extremely dirty They did so much damage to the wall that the TV was falling off the wall. I had to replace the wall, fix the ceiling and repaint everything. I was very calm during this process and went through best buys claims process with Sedgwick . After over a month of waiting for an answer / reimbursement. they replied by saying they could offer me $100 as a courtesy. - I have never given less than a 5-star review, I have never written a bad review or publicly complained about a business in my life. but after many attempts to try and speak with someone higher up and being ignored I felt I should share. This is not an attack on any person that works for Best buy or Segwick it is a complaint on their process and how they handle people. I still would like someone to resolve this.

WORST INSTALL EVER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible service. The service man installed this on a wall but did not install it into the studs. As a result, the wall collapsed and I had to hire someone to rebuild the wall first, and then properly install the tv into the studs. When I called, because it was over the time limit (I think it is 30 days) the Geek Squad took no responsibility. The handy man was so appaled he told me I should sue the Geek squad. Had I not had a dresser 1 foot under the tv, the tv would also have been destroyed.

Friendly team, damaged wall, incomplete install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The install team was friendly. The screws from the TV mount went out the other side of the wall, so now I am working with their insurance company for a repair. The install was incomplete because they could not add the in wall power. I waited three weeks for them to complete the in wall installation only to be told it would cost more than originally quoted and they did not want to do the work with the hardware the first team approved. Communication could be improved.

Nice guys, but not what I was expecting.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There was some miscommunication with the original Geek Squad member that was dispatched to install our TV and soundbar, so we had to wait over a month from purchasing to installation. The guys were really nice once they got out here, but they had issues installing. We ended up having to move both the TV and soundbar due to the height and spacing being off, and they didn't do a great job patching the holes in the wall. They also wouldn't run the cords through our in-wall cable conduit run and said it was against company policy. My wife and I can't remove the TV from the wall ourselves, so we've resorted to painting masking tape the same color as our walls and taping the cords down to hide them for the time being. I'll pass on this service the next time I decide to purchase from Best Buy.

Wires are still visible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered my frame tv and wanted it installed the first time geek squad came to install they brought the tv with no power cord. Then I had to wait another week to get the tv and get it installed but I wasn’t able to take another day off of work so I had a family memeber open the door for them and let them mount it after I arrived home they didn’t hide the tv wires inside the wall like I wanted and my sound at wasn’t installed either since I didn’t purchase the tv stand my family memeber didn’t know where to put it but if the first time I took off work they would’ve came prepared I wouldn’t have a frame tv which I got because it looks like a picture Frame but what picture frame has wires coming. Out of it just disappointed and wish the would finish the original job

Unacceptable Job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV was mounted nicely and devices were connected. However, during the process an unsightly hole was left in my wall. The technicians patched it up with putty which made it look even worse. Technicians should have been more attentive in what they were doing and using the stud finder correctly.
