    Mounted too high sloppy work

    I told the installers to only leave about 4 inches above mantle to bottom of tv. They mounted tv about 8 inches above mantle, wall plates on fireplace stick out like a sore thumb. They never communicated to me that this is what they were doing. Once it was up they said it was the only way because of grout line. Not true there were other options. To top it off Pete kept saying it is what it is. UNSAT. I should’ve done it myself, way cheaper. They are not professional installers. BEWARE!!!!!

    TV out of balance all the time, a tech came to check on it and the wall mount was never balanced properly

    I bought my tv a month ago. I haven’t been able to watch it. It hasn’t worked since it was connected. The wire connection is messy. Tv remote doesn’t work. Tv doesn’t work receiver doesn’t work.

    Multiple calls to schedule and many mishaps with doing so by the installer. They left a mess after install (see photo) and also damaged our fireplace mantle. (See photos)

    Geek Squad made me buy a second TV mount!

    I was happy with the installation process and that it was free with TotalTech, but the agent brought a different mount than the one the TV already came with and wouldn't mount it until I purchased the other mount. I talked to our maintenance team and they will be remounting the TV with the correct mount in the next few days.

    Messed up my wall during mounting

    Third Party vendor of Geek Squad messed my wall during mounting my TV. There are multiple nail pops and cracks in the wall now due to over drilling using extreme force.

    Didn’t mount tv correctly. Looking at a level it isn’t even close to mounted correctly. Can’t believe I spent $2k on a tv and because I was in a meeting at the time they just threw it up there. I commented it looked off and they said it was fine. Didn’t have time to get me level out

    Nice guys but disappointing service. Shortly after tv mounted, I went to adjust and rt side wasn't even slotted in the mount because it wasn't measured right. I took 1 hour re-measuring and fixed it myself. I'm hoping to reconcile this situation in a timely manner. Other then that, the TV works great.

    I’m not happy because the technician could have used shorter screws to mount the TV the screws are through to my kitchen wall.

    First time using This service to mount my tv and my last . They mounted it and it looks good now I need to figure out how to hook back up my stuff when it’s on the wall . 250 bucks I recommend people use a different service . If mine wasn’t 85inch i would have done myself

    My mount is already falling off the wall and geek squad has not returned my emails. Not only that but my installer demanded additional cash to complete the job that day. Would never use their installing service again what a joke.

    Terrible total tech protection . The geek squad don’t care about doing their job properly . They are careless and break the t.vs as they install them . The whole reason I got this protection was because I have back problems and can’t mount it. Well they ended up breaking g it anyways . I don’t recommend it nor would I buy it again .

    Salesman said my DVD and video recorder would work. The installer said no it would not work and did not try. I said can I run to the store to get a new CD player he said no. Left wires hanging down the while and my outlet full of chords left it a mess

    Poor installation, no movement.

    The television was technically mounted, but in a way that is specifically advised against in the product manual. I have contacted Best Buy twice since install asking for assistance, but have yet to see any movement. Really hoping it does not fall off of the wall by the time they get around to fixing it.

    The installers mounted the TV through the wall and into the next room. Best buy used a third party installation company who then subcontracted the work out without informing me. Neither best buy nor the third party has been sufficient in remedying the problem and damage.

    Just a half-awake lazy guy who pretended not to understand when I asked about hiding the wires, which is the obvious expectation and was the reason for ordering the service. Straightforward drywall. Made zero attempt to hire wires. First day on the job and/or just completely burned out and does not care.

    Geek Squad installation was a nightmare. The technician was not professional, didn't know what he was doing, and sloppy. I will never used Geek Squad again. Don't believe me look at the pictures below. In addition, the tv box was damaged. This is the version of a completed job.

    Techs installed TV on family room wall. They drilled holes that went into the bathroom wall and damaged the tile. A bolt is protruding into the shower along with another hole. I await a call to determine how repairs are going to be made.

    I had them install a tv at my office they took paint off the wall, broke the HDMI cable said cable was to short but it was broken into the TV. Was able to get out but now i have to have expense to get the HDMI cable replaced.

    tv wall mount fell off the wall

    The service sucked! The wall mount fell off the wall and made the TV drop to the ground. I was expecting better service from the geek squad. I hired professionals and I expected professional service. Very disappointed.........
