On the day of installation, I was notified that a Geek Squad installer was being changed to a 3rd party contractor. I joined an online chat and was informed that no Geek Squad was available but assured the installer is a professional installer. The installer arrived alone and was frantically calling for someone to come assist with the 90lb Sony tv. He answered 4-5 telephone calls while trying to install and none of the calls were related to my install. He proceeded to encourage DIRECT Tv instead of my current provider. He recommended that I return the Sony Sound bar and buy an LG instead. He said our HDMI was “junk” but has no offer of a replacement option. He said the TV wouldn’t fit in the new custom made wall. Important to note that the wall was designed and build specifically for THIS TV and wasn’t even constructed until after the TV was purchased. He was clearly unable to read the tape measure and said he was only “80%” confident that it fit. Once we helped him read the tape measure he realized it would fit PERFECTLY. He then provided no instructions on how to use the sound bar. He clearly has no product knowledge. I asked for assistance with a hearing aid tv connector. After trying 6-7 times I said never mind. The next day, I retuned to Best Buy where I learned that the hearing aid device can’t work with a second blue tooth device (which installer has no clue about). After retuning to Best Buy the next day, I was given a new Geek Squad installation team who did a great job the next weekend. The new crew adjusted our color and adjusted the sound and explained everything.

The Best Buy Geek Squad was great and installed my TV as I was expecting.

Great tv Sony A8H 65 inches with sanus wall mount!

The geek squad agents installed my new Sanus TV mount. They even program my DIRECTV remote to operate everything and make sure my Sound bar was working. I have an appointment to have them out by three other TVs. I highLy recommend Geek Squad. I also had a in-home consultation on how to network and fix other issues I wanted to streamline.
