    The agent left the box. He did not set up TV after mounting. I had to set up after. A waste of time

    Tv was hung over electrical socket. Please fix the tv that we paid for to be hung.

    Tech mounted the screen WAY too high. I told him eye level. He just did what he wanted. Poor job.

    Installation was a breeze over my Fireplace

    The install or was very professional and knew what he was doing. I had Angi installed came and installed the a TV at the same place and my TV collapsed with 24 hours. Took 3 months of going back and forth with Angi to get my money back. I was reluctant, about hanging my TV above my Fireplace again because of my bad experience with Angi. But when the installers came from Bestbuy, he assured me that it would not happen again. He was very professional in his work and very knowledgeable. He showed me the studs he found, to easy my worries and the installation was a breeze. And as of now, my TV is still hanging on top of my fireplace. Thank you

    More Than Perfect in Every Way, Thank You Again!

    I bought my 95-year-old mother a 65-inch LG OLED TV for Christmas. It was a big expense for me. Along with it, I bought the television wall mounting unit, and all of the required HDMI 4K Smart required cables, etc. I wanted the new, grand television to be installed above her existing fireplace. On the recommendation from my son-in-law, I contacted Best Buy and their Geek Squad. It was very easy to go online and make an installation date. I have to admit I was very nervous. The TV box was enormous, and I had no idea how they would actually install this huge television. Well, the Geek Squad called me about 20 minutes before their scheduled arrival time as a heads up to me, which was great. Once they, 2 eager young men, arrived they quickly began working. I apologize for not remembering their individual names, because each of them deserves credit for the great work they did. They were concerned about the placement of the new television being above the fireplace due to there being available wood supports or bricks behind the visual wood paneling. They investigated and found the proper support for the installation of the TV wall mounting unit I had previously bought. I bought a nice one, which cost about $150, and was extendable and able to move the TV about after the installation. I recommend that. The Geek Squad did the TV mount installation and then installed the new television onto it. That was an enormous relief of tension for me. Ha. Then, it became a series of the Geek Squad connecting all of the proper HDMI and electric cables. They were very careful to zip-tie all of the cable connections in order to allow the TV to be extended and moved about with causing any cable restrictions and bunch up. The Geek Squad continued with starting up the power on the television and connecting all of the streamlining and cable box stuff that allows a person to view everything available. It was like a miracle to suddenly have it working so perfectly for viewing! And, I have to say, this was all performed by the Geek Squad in approximately 1.5 hours! My Mom, and everyone in the family is impressed beyond endurance with the result. I've included two photos that show the new television after installation. My Mom is sitting in the chair and can now see her favorite programs. I give my thanks to Best Buy and their Geek Squad. I recommend them to everyone. It was well worth the cost of $200 for their professional and very easy to get along with personal behavior as they were more than perfect in every way. Thanks again.

    The service technicians were excellent. They were on time, exceedingly polite, and efficient in getting the job done. I’ve had no issues whatsoever and would absolutely recommend this service!

    Best Buy Installers: The BEST!

    If you buy a Large Flat Screen TV and not going to use the legs supplied; I would Highly Recommend that you use the professionals from Best Buy! There are experts and go the extra mile to hang you TV correctly and its working with all the equipment you have hooked to it. If your like me, you numerous things hooked to the TV, Direct TV box, Stereo, Sonos set-up with an Arc, two subs, and two surround speakers. Plus my Blu-Ray Player. I utilize four HDMI inputs, the ARC3 and two of the HDMI outputs. Its a lot that go wrong, but the Best Buy Installers won't leave till everything is working correctly, they true professionals. I have had them in the past put up wall mounts in my living room and bedroom, so that part was easy for them by switching out TV's. But than they went the extra mile and put my bedroom TV in my workout area for my treadmill and they did not have to, but they said they were there and would make it happen. How many installers do you know that would not tact on an extra charge! None that I know of. I highly recommend their service, its worth the money and the job is done right the first time!

    These guys really know there stuff. The called me the day of the install confirming time of arrival. They showed up right on the time they quoted. They had my tv and the mount and proceeded to ask me my preferences on where i wanted it, how high i wanted it on the wall, and explained how this was important to viewing comfort. Next they setup the picture and sound quality to the ideal settings! Finally they connected the tv to all my accessories (Xbox, Roku box and remote). I just sat there and in approximately 45 minutes my TV was up and functional . Great installers great service. Im hooked. Thanks guys

    Love Geek Squad!!

    If you are trying to decide whether or not to use Geek Squad - just do it! So glad I decided to use the service, Ryan and Ben installed my 58' Samsung in less than 45 min and cleaned up everything as they went. I used a pretty slim wall mount because I wanted my TV to be very close to the wall. I read that others had trouble with the install but these guys did it with ease. Also, they are extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my setup questions. This is my first time using Geek Squad but I'm definitely a fan and will do it again - I highly recommend.

    Unfortante I cannot remember the two gentlemen's name who came and did a fantastic job mounting our new TV! They were very professional, personable and made the process very smooth by answering all my questions and concerns. I'd hired the Geek Squad a few times to mount TVs and they are always great to work with!

    I have zero complaints about this TV! It’s fantastic to lie in bed and enjoy the screen clearly without my glasses. Plus, I can easily ask Google to handle tasks for me—no need to reach for the remote. The picture quality is absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend this purchase!

    Are Best Buy geek squad tack right in the anticipated timeframe called ahead and was very efficient and courteous not to mention the fact that he did a first class installation of this 42 inch TV in a fairly difficult custom install Even cleaned up after himself and left his number in case there were any issues the next day with the use of the new television and sound bar I’ve had geek squad for a couple of years now it wouldn’t be without it it’s like having them on retainer you cannot have a contractor come and do any other service for this kind of money…and you can call them for just about anything tech related. I will not be without them! And highly recommend.

    Hi. Yes, Scott & his assistant came & set everything up. This is the 2nd time Scotts helped me with my tv’s and done a great job. He listens, always has a positive attitude, is thorough. He shows me respect, kindness. Your other tech’s over here are horrible. They don’t know anything about the products you sell/the ones they’re supposed to be fixing. They’re combative, don’t listen, unhelpful. The original guy who was supposed to come mount & etc my 2nd tv got really upset when I told him it was a 2 man job. He couldn’t understand why, I said it’s a 55inch flat screen. You need a someone to hold the tv in place as you bolt it to the wall & etc. I told him we’d be mounting the tv at the very top of ceiling. The mount I have (bought at your store yrs ago) swivel & rotate. He didn’t understand. When I moved from California, I had my geek squad leave the wall mount assembled so the Geek Squad here could just set it up quicker. Scott completely understood & said no problem, that actually helps them. This original guy (Brian?) was upset, frustrated because he didn’t understand anything I was saying. I tried several times to communicate in a way that he could understand. He literally threw a fit. I found myself having to calm him down. I ended up saying, “look, it’s a 2 man job. I even explained this was a 2 man job even if the mounting was already set up. How do you not know this? Quit arguing with me. Contact Scott because you & I aren’t getting anywhere.” We got Scott & his nice assistant to step in and take my tv job. The original guy (Brian?) called me back, said Scott will be out tomorrow. And then said, “Next time, if I have a 55inch flat screen to mount, I need order the next size 56 & up mounting to appease him. I said, I think we have a problem if you have the balls to argue with me, lose your cool, then after Scott steps in to handle all this, you still have the nerve to tell me this was on me & that I needed buy the next size so YOU can take on the job?? He said Best Buy had it scheduled as a 1 man job. I told him that when the customer is telling you it’s a 2 man job for whatever reason…. YOU ADJUST, maybe reschedule so a 2nd man is available and you listen & get the job done. There’s no need for Bestbuy employee meltdowns over a tiny little problem which was totally solved when SCOTT stepped in (& his assistant) to remedy my situation. Scott knows his stuff & is great at coming up with solutions that’ll work for “us” the customer. Scott & his assistant have set up both my big tv’s & the sound bar & teaching me how to work my ROKU. They never spoke down to me. They’re really great making sure I’m happy with my results before leaving. They provided service that even you BESTBUY couldn’t provide. So what does that say?

    The work by Guillermo, Nate and Ernest installing the TV mount and my TCL 65” tv was great. On time, expertly done with no leftover boxes or mess. They also helped with TV setup, adjusting picture quality, pairing of remote. Also delighted w quality of TV and ease of use

    To Whom It May Concern,   I write in order to provide feedback concerning “Andrew” the Best Buy employee presently working in the Geek Squad in your Hartsdale, NY location. I recently purchased a LG television from your Best Buy location in Hartsdale, NY.  Andrew was instrumental in assisting me with the set up of my television. He explained to me how he would effectuate the installation and made me feel at ease.  Thus far, I am very satisfied with the service provided and the performance of the equipment. Andrew Ensured that the installed television was operating effectively both quickly and efficiently.  Prior to his departure, he suggested other TV-related products that I may want to purchase from Best Buy in the future.  As a result of his suggestions, I am seriously considering returning to Best Buy to upgrade my television’s audio system.   Thus far, I am so satisfied with the services Andrew provided that I am returning to Best Buy to purchase additional technology for my entertainment system.     In light of the efficient services Andrew provided, and the courteous and professional manner in which he provided those services to me, I will make it a point to return to Best Buy in order to make future home electronic purchases.  I would appreciate it if Best Buy would have the above-information reflected in his employment files.     Should you have any questions or concerns, or wish to discuss the matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me using the information that I provided to your store.   Very Truly Yours,                                                      Emilio G.     After reading recent online reviews on other websites about the third party installers the Best Buy and the Geek Squad use, I was very hesitant and concerned about my add-on purchase. I even called to see if I might get an actual Geek Squad employee to deliver, mount, and set up my new TV but was told it really wasn't an option and would add 1+ month to my delivery. Well, my concerns were all unwarranted. Our installer was very professional, keeping me informed of his whereabouts and ETA. When he arrived, he was very kind, very knowledgeable, and very experienced. His work was excellent and we couldn't be happier. So, at least in northern Utah, one can buy this service with confidence!
