    Purchased solely to protect my lenses from the elements (rain, snow, sand, dog slobber, etc.). It works as intended for that purpose. Don't notice any difference, for better or worse, in the quality of my photos (didn't expect to).

    While talking with the camera expert in store, his recommendation for the filter reminded me of past experience of scratching a camera lens. The filter is good in itself, but gives the extra benefit of protecting the lens itself.

    I use this on a manual focus lens. It's great bc I like this ultra slim design and won't make the front of the lens anymore bulky. Keeps dirt and dust from landing on the front element and the price can't be beat.
