    This is great for protecting your lens. I gave it 4 stars because it was ordered with my camera but was delivered a week later. Silly to send a lens protector late.

    Lenses are expensive. UV and Sky filters are not. A collage professor told me to keep a UV filter on my lens when I first got my first SLR camera for this reason, and I have. During a visit to China, a firecracker threw a rock right at me and my camera. The cheap plastic filter was damaged, but not the lens. A quick change of the filter and I was back to shooting again. The filter saved a very expensive lens.
